Does Mexico have a lot of power outages ?
I just drove across Mexico from Puerto Vallarta to Nuevo Laredo two weeks ago. I am guessing this has a lot more to do with avoiding the cash disappearing from Pemex stations or toll booths than it does digital control.
But no doubt Mexico is moving ahead in the digital world. Years ago if you lost your car permit or didn’t cancel, a $50 bill fixed your problems. Now the computer never forgets.
