have the gulf states offered to up their production to make up for any iranian shortfall?
Then they need to:
pump more oil
defray war costs
assist opening the Strait
get warplanes in the air and
Arab boots on the ground

I agree with the Gulf States and i wish trump would quit putting a Rosy slant on his talks with Iran. General Keane has it right and says we need to pursue the Military solution and not trust anything the Iranians say.

There miight be 500 ft of soil and rock on top of it, how good are sensors at detecting / distinguishing through that? Any wavicle from radioactive decay that goes through that is also going to go pass right through a few millimeters thickness of a detector?
They use a “half-value layer thickness” to get a sense of radiation attenuation by materials such as rock. A reasonable number might be 10cm for 50% attenuation of gamma radiation, so 50 meters overburden or burial depth would correspond to 3 * 10 **-15 of the radiation reaching the surface. since it isnt solid intact rock maybe only 10 **-6 ? Might need something different like isotope sniffers for gas decay products diffusing out - flying real-time gas chromatograph mass spectrometers? I am just guessing and wondering like you based on 5 minutes research.

Yeah, but thus far they haven’t put any skin in the game. Other than Saudi Arabia. They need to step up and help out and not let Israel and Uncle Sugar do all the heavy lifting. You want ‘em gone? Help out!
