Some interesting information to keep in mind as we head towards midterms:

Some interesting information to keep in mind as we head towards midterms:

—Redistricting:

As a result of all of the recent redistricting following the 2024 election, Republicans are set to lock in ~12 new House seats, while the Democrats are set to lock in ~6 new seats.

A Democrat-led redistricting effort in Virginia could give the Democrats another +4 seats, but the referendum to do so takes place on April 21 and actually might end up failing.

Regardless, the Republicans are currently up ~6 seats in the House before anyone has even voted.

—Supreme Court Rulings:

The Supreme Court is expected to shut down the counting of mail-in ballots after election day, which has always mysteriously benefitted the Democrats (allegedly, this is one of their key mechanisms for voter fraud.) This is expected to be a 6-3 Supreme Court ruling in the very near future.

The Supreme Court is also expected to determine that all of the Democrats racially gerrymandered voting districts across the country are unconstitutional - if the Supreme Court issues this ruling prior to early June, it will go into effect before the midterms and the Democrats will lose 12-20 seats in the House. Simply put, this is doomsday for the Democrats.

—Legislation / Executive Order:

If the SAVE America Act ends up getting passed, or an Executive Order clone of the SAVE America Act (one of these two things will happen 100% prior to midterms), the following things will be required to vote in midterms: proof of citizenship when registering, photo ID when voting, and mail-in voting will be entirely shut down outside of extreme exceptions (living overseas, disability, military, etc.) This would also be disproportionately catastrophic for the Democrat voter base.

—Wild Card Variables:

If Trump actually presents credible evidence to the American people that foreign influence has taken place in our elections and that the Democrats were complicit in this foreign influence (this is the allegation), you can imagine that Republican voter turnout would spike as a result. It’s somewhat likely that this will happen. You might have noticed - President Trump doesn't seem to be panicking about midterms right now, even though he'd be the single most-screwed person in the country if the Democrats were to retake the House. Maybe he has an ace up his sleeve, so to speak.

---Summary:

It's going to be a VERY interesting year with LOTS of twists, turns, and suprises. Things are VERY FAR from being over.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

We could still win the mid terms. Let's see what SCOTUS comes up with on ballots coming in after election day and in the Voting Rights Act. Plus Virginia vote on redistricting. All 3 look good for Republicans.

If we can win the midterms and the 2028 election for President, Senate and House maybe we can MAGA.

Remember that the drive to clean up elections is not based on large number of guilty verdicts. The drive is to improve the appearance of fairness in our elections. Detecting election fraud is hard. Intuiting the presence of election fraud is easy -- how many times have people gone to sleep with Republicans winning, only to wake up to the news that the opposing candidate took a surprising lead.

Remember, too, that the DefCon Conference had an area with demonstrations showing just how insecure electronic voting is. Not to mention declarations that "our voting machines are not connected to the Internet" that were proven to be false to fact.

What I learned today for the first time is that some of the electronic voting systems are two-stage systems. The first system is the touch-screen that displays the ballot, and then prints a QR-encoded tally of the vote. That QR code is then scanned by a tabulator that records the vote. Now, I would be VERY surprised if the voter could verify that the printed QR code accurately represents his or her choices.

I have the same concern about the bar coding used in the voting machines printed on the paper copy when the voter says "submit".

Right now Trump and the GOP are headed for a bloodbath. They have a short period of time to lessen it, but not seeing it now.

You nailed it .

the 401 k are getting crushed , Gas is way up , try buying lumber right now , food is way up , and we are caught in a quagmire with our troops being used in a war about oil .

One of Trumps candidates is a devious Indian anchor baby who
trashes American workers over his fellow demon Dem voting Indian H1 Visas.

They The WH needs a new direction .
Where is the so called pivot for the midterms .
And its April.

Blame me if deemed appropriate, but part of the problem is there were so much wrong in this country. Where do you start?

In my estimation, the Save Act shoulda been one of the first things done, along with correcting the border, and ICE illegals roundup, and gone from there.

“the 401 k are getting crushed , Gas is way up , try buying lumber right now , food is way up , and we are caught in a quagmire with our troops being used in a war about oil .”

Um, not my retirements. my unrestricted account went up 16%, my restricted account maxed up. Not sure why yours is getting crushed.

Gas is way up per usual when there’s a conflict, and all the fundamentals are set for it to go down. Canadian lumber is coming in up to 3x cheaper than before, food is a result of inflation, and low cattle herds. Coffee has had several bad years.

Quagmire??? Uh, what? We’re kicking ass over there.

I don’t see your doom and gloom. I raise you redistricting, Rs up +6, USSC ruling on D’s racial gerrymandering D’s -12-20.

Then rely on what I thought were very good pics for his administration to move the ball and all the other items down list. Energy, which affects everything, agriculture, World issues, DOJ issues!
Issue is there is/was a TON of wrong that needed fixing.
I just think more emphasis should’ve been put on this country first instead of trying to solve all these wars around the world.

Four years is a quagmire. Four weeks is nothing.

And another major factor to add to your list - never underestimate turnout of lefties and low information voters.

I’ve been around a long time and have been both perplexed and devastated watching way too many election nights results come in.

Add to it Trump’s call for a mid-term convention in September.

3 times cheaper is a nonsense term. One third as expensive is probably what you meant.

“ the 401 k are getting crushed”

What the heck are you invested in?

I’ve got a small cal fund that is up 17.5% in the last three months

And my energy fund is up 44.75%, most of which was pre-Iran growth.

Thats it. Add in maybe a few other things about economy, jobs, cost of living, and there is absolute apathy on our side.

Except none of that is true.
4 weeks of bombing the mullahs of Iran back to the Stone Age with very little casualties is a “quagmire”?
What planet you living on?
Far left fantasy land?

The Georgia legislature just passed a bill requiring hand marked ballots in the general election in November. I almost fell over.

“Republican voter turnout would spike as a result”
Republican voter turnout will only spike if there is a ground game. In Nov 2026 mid-terms issues will not spike a turnout.
Where is there off year evidence that issues matter.

Example: 1994 the Republican turnout was unusually big and the issue was PROLIFE. But the ground game of 2 prolife organizations deserve all the credit and not the issue.

Example: GA Nov 2025. The issue was obscure policies of the obscure Public Service Commission. The issues had little press. The Democrats won 2 statewide races because they had a good NO KINGS ground game.

Democrats are almost certain to have a good ground game in Nov 2026. Will MAGA be in front of their TV cheering & booing? Or will MAGA have a ground game?

Issues will determine if some independents who turnout vote R or D for a specific office on the ballot.
