Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew is urging Prime Minister Mark Carney to take stronger action to help end the ongoing war involving Iran, warning of its growing human and economic toll.
In a letter sent to Carney, Kinew criticized the conflict as unnecessary and harmful, stressing that ordinary people are paying the price. He said the war is causing significant suffering abroad while also driving up costs and economic pressure for Canadians at home.
Kinew called on the federal government to push for de-escalation and diplomatic efforts to bring the fighting to an end. He emphasized that Canada should not support or become involved in a prolonged conflict that risks further instability.

He’s on the list?
Why you can’t count on ‘conservative’ Canadian pols. We have some real Canadians on FR, I wish we could get them here.
Manitoba premier says the Mullahs of Tehran should be given a veto over what ships get in an out of the Strait of Hormus; instead of calling for his national government to participate in an international effort to take international control of the strait.
“Wabanakwut “Wab” Kinew . Would not want to go through life known as “Wab,” especially in high school. He is a wacko Canadian leftist from the New Democratic Party, NDP.
This is the equivalent of the mayor of Buffalo weighing in on International affairs. STFU Snow Mexican.
Are there any Canadian Pols worth damn?
Can we bomb him?
Can we drone him.
Manitoba First, and that means we don’t have to do nothin’, just tell everyone else what to do, ‘cause we’re the cool guys./s
Manitoba is just jealous that his province does not produce oil and gas.
Meanwhile, the Saskatchewan and Alberta Provinces have no problem with high oil prices because that means more jobs and drilling for them.
“Manitoba is just jealous that his province does not produce oil and gas.”
It apparently does lead the way in producing brain farts.
I might also suggest that the Manitoba Prime Minister could clean the snow and ice off the solar panels in his province and then his clean energy programs would result in no need for oil and gas.
“Snow Mexican”
LOL!
That’s the first time I’ve heard that.
He’s just playing for clicks. He’s a socialist and a parasite upon Albertans. Even when he’s living in Manitoba.
He has to watch for polar bears when he’s cleaning off his panels.

Who? I never heard of this clown.
