The EU must implement its trade deal with the US without amendments or risk losing “favourable” access to liquefied natural gas shipments from American exporters, Donald Trump’s ambassador to the bloc has warned.
EU ratification of last year’s agreement between the US president and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen has been delayed by several issues, including Trump’s threats to invade Greenland.

We put those stupid Eurof**ks in a petrol box and now they are our gimps.
“Ursula von der Leyen has been delayed by several issues, including Trump’s threats to invade Greenland”
LOL!!
The EU is just as impotent as the dead Aytoilet’s son, who is probably also dead.
The EU has no military that can protect Greenland from Russia or the CCP….least of all Denmark!
Ursula can kiss DJT’s a$$.
Why would the EU need LNG with all their wonderful solar panels and windmills?
“The EU has no military that can protect Greenland from Russia or the CCP….least of all Denmark!”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
What happened to the commandment “You shall not steal”?
And what about abiding to the concept of “Law and Order”?
The fact that the EU has “no military means” to protect Greenland from Russia or the CCP does that make it moral for America to invade and take / steal Greenland and take all its resources by force?
Stealing others lands is a socialist, communist and Neo-Soviet Imperialist behavior. Conservatives and rightwing people oppose such behavior with every fiber of their bodies! Yes, conservatives don’t steal, we stand for Law and Order.
Shall we let rapists rape women in isolated areas because there are no one there to protect them? Should we condone that? Or, shall there be a justice stating that you can’t rape people - even if rapists technically can?
Would it be moral to let an armed Mexican gang do a home/invasion on the American side of the border and occupy an unarmed American families house, simply because they are un-armed?
America and the West in general can’t become a similar version of the CCP or Russia. We have conservative Christian values to respect and protect.
“Stealing others lands is a socialist, communist and Neo-Soviet Imperialist behavior.”
Like Frogland never did that. Nice and Alsace are two for instance.
To be fair, they didn’t do that RECENTLY.
It bothers me that some Freepers really cannot see what the problem here is.
There’s nothing “America First” in burning bridges with all of America’s historical allies, on the most utterly retarded, provably bollox, fanciful grounds, while Trump seems to be desperately courting Putin’s favor at every possible opportunity... EVEN THOUGH PUTIN HATES AMERICA’S GUTS ALMOST AS MUCH AS IRAN DOES, PUTIN IS ACTUALLY FUNDING IRAN TO ATTACK AMERICAN INTERESTS, AND PUTIN’S BEEN WAGING CYBER WARFARE AGAINST THE USA FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS NOW.
Did you know that over the lifetime of NATO, America has actually earned over ten dollars for every dollar it actually spent on European and British NATO partnership? American brand explosions. Franchises. Everybody speaking American English. Adopting American culture, like Trick or Treat. Billions every year on buying American military surplus - at vastly overinflated prices, sometimes. And that’s not counting the war loan repayments, with interest. And, America has had over half a century of completely rent-free access to bases all over Europe, with massively subsidised local support (without really having to fight a war at all).
EU NATO was the biggest goose ever, laying golden eggs for America for over half a century. Over the decades, it’s cost America maybe a trillion dollars. But conservative estimates put the return rom doing it at over ten trillion.
Today, America + Canada, together, pay about as much into NATO as Europe does. Germany pays proportionally the same into it as the USA.
Exactly what has Russia ever given America that made it worth torching the relationship with EU-NATO and Five Eyes? NOTHING. What is Russia even pretending to offer Trump at the moment? NOTHING!
It gets weirder. When Ukraine offered to help the USA with drones in Hormuz, Trump didn’t just say no - he cut support for Ukraine and gave, of all people, PUTIN yet another lucky break in the form of a massive freebie on tariffs and sanctions that not one single American ally, no matter how reliable, has ever been offered - with a vastly increased oil barrel price as the cherry on top.
The UK actually did offer support, over six months ago - but the UK also advised Trump that our minesweepers would be undergoing repairs this Spring, and the UK also advised that its aircraft carriers were not all in service. Trump can kick off all he likes at the supposed lack of readiness, but ALL NATO members and partners knew that the British fleet wouldn’t be ready.
The Australians have never turned America down - but they quite rightly point out that there were no NATO or Five Eyes discussions about an imminent pre-emptive attack by the USA on Iran, and since nobody’s invented a super-sized ocean-based teleporter yet, they can’t teleport their ships into the Strait of Hormuz just because Trump decided after the fact that they should’ve been there yesterday.
Oh - and when we all found out about those kill switches on American jets. So if Putin does attack EU-NATO and we need those jets to actually do what we’ve paid them to do, can we even guarantee they’ll be able to take off?
I don’t know what MAGA is thinking, but I do know what national security teams right across Europe are thinking. Bluntly, it’s “we literally cannot trust the USA anymore - not economically, not diplomatically, not financially, and certainly not militarily.”
France has already tested the theory. They invented a whole load of fake intel, gave it to the Trump administration, and started a stopwatch. They clicked the stop button when the Kremlin indicated it had received the fake intel.
Fact is, America is not doing itself any favors by threatening Greenland, appropriating Swiss funds for its fighter jets for its own use, commandeering Latin American oil tankers and keeping the oil, taking $750m that was explicitly given to you by Europe to pay for Ukrainian arms, and spending it on bombing Iran instead.
Because misappropriation of allied funds sits ON TOP of all the other stuff that EU-NATO has been watching.
Thanks for the AI copy and paste. Anti-American and Trump hating garbage.
” when we all found out about those kill switches on American jets.”
WTF is this claptrap. Ridiculous lie.
So which of the other statements in that lengthy catalogue is untrue?
I’m not gonna waste my time rebutting all that AI generated garbage. That guy didn’t type all that. It’s a huge copy and paste job.
ping
Thanks for the tip-off Dennis.
Not one word of that is AI, and none one statement is false either.
“Kill switch” is a metaphor on the UK/Europe side, you utter buffoon. Of course there isn’t a *literal* on-off button hidden in cockpits; of course there isn’t a *literal* button somewhere in the USA that insta-kills HIMARS.
But I’ve been in a room listening to senior military figures and Cyber specialists from across Europe, discussing operational risks, threat vectors, and the like, many MANY times.
I am telling you right now, EU-NATO, EU-NATO partners, the UK, and Five Eyes, ALREADY know about how U.S.-supplied hardware has software and diagnostic dependencies that folks in the USA can switch off at any time. This sits under “supply chain risk” and a few other risk categories.
Two practical examples:
1. F-35s require consistent communication with ODIN for maintenance, diagnostics, and mission data. If the USA wanted to, they could block it - rendering the jets inoperable.
2. HIMARS - we already know (because the USA has told us) that targeting data can be withheld. We already know that Ukraine can’t use HIMARS to its full capability.
3. CASD nuclear deterrent. There are suspicions that the USA could, in effect, veto a launch of UK Trident.
None of this is new news, by the way - those same kinds of threat assessments are what led to us putting an embargo on using Huawei kit for critical infrastructure.
What’s new about it is, for a long time it was presupposed that the USA was an honest enough broker, and a reliable enough ally, to not abuse these mechanisms. It is GOBSMACKING that we have got to a point where we’re basically asking ourselves, especially given Trump’s rhetoric, shouldn’t we be givinng procurement from the USA with just as much risk assessment focus as we would if China was offering the kit instead.
So I’m telling you right now, buying from European partners is starting to make a whole lot of sense. The French and Swedes don’t intentionally put crippleware and kill switches into the kit they sell their partners like American suppliers have done, and they don’t keep threatening to cut their partners and allies off like Trump’s doing either.
So maybe you should take that dumbass infantile MAGA “everything is awesome” blindfold off, and start paying more attention.
Incidentally:
From SEPTEMBER LAST YEAR. Completely public knowledge.
And,
https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/defence/hms-middleton-maintenance-royal-navy-middle-east-5357999
From October. Also public knowledge.
“Royal Navy’s solo Middle East minehunter HMS Middleton heads into maintenance period”
“HMS Lancaster, the forward deployed Type 23 Duke-class frigate that recently seized £35m worth of drugs from two vessels in the area, is due to leave the Middle East ahead of being disposed of - meaning the Royal Navy would lack a conventional warship there.”
You are a scholar You do not need AI assistance Hava a good day!
“So maybe you should take that dumbass infantile MAGA “everything is awesome” blindfold off, and start paying more attention.”
You post a bunch of AI garbage, too lazy to post your own stuff, then show your Trump hating, America hating true colors.
It’s not AI garbage. Like I said, I’ve been in the bloody room when these things are being talked about.
And how on earth could I fake public website information on the fly using AI when it was verifiably published online over six months ago?
Was there an original thought in any of your posts or were you just unthinkingly parroting utter nonsense from social media retards?
Give it a rest. You didn’t type all that. Fake.
Now see here. Maybe you have a reading age of 8. Maybe you are unable to maintain your concentration if you have to read a paragraph with more (and longer) words in it than a Dick and Jane book.
Have you ever posted anything here that’s longer than two lines of text, without quoting someone else?
There’s no need to project. mean EVERYONE ELSE is as dumb as you.
FR could replace every post of yours with “SEE SPOT RUN” and it’d be more insightul.
