An abortion doctor who was serving a life sentence in prison for murdering three babies died in a Pennsylvania hospital earlier this month, prison officials announced on Monday.
Dr Kermit Gosnell, whose high-profile baby murder case shocked the nation in the early 2010s, died on March 1 in a hospital outside the prison system at the age of 85. His cause of death was not made public.
The abortionist's vile West Philadelphia clinic, which police said reeked of 'cat feces, formaldehyde and human urine' when they raided it in 2010, was where Gosnell killed at least three newborns by sticking scissors into the backs of their necks.
Former employees testified to witnessing the doctor deliver babies who were still whimpering and moving before severing their spines with the scissors, a grotesque process that he dubbed 'snipping.'
Gosnell, a father of six, was convicted in 2013 on charges of murdering three babies, as well as involuntary manslaughter of a patient. He had originally been charged with eight counts of murder but some of the cases were dropped.
The doctor was also convicted of various other crimes, including violations of Pennsylvania's abortion laws. Even when he was not murdering newborns, he would routinely perform abortions past the state's 24-week limit.
Gosnell had been moved around the prison system over the nearly 13 years since he was convicted and was most recently incarcerated at the State Correctional Institution-Smithfield, which is about 60 miles south of Pittsburgh.
The doctor, who was called 'America's Most Prolific Serial Killer' in a 2017 book by authors Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAteer, kept a collection of fetuses and their body parts in his 'house of horrors' clinic.

To this day I remember posting stories about this daily, sometimes hourly.
I remember when he was found guilty because I have friends over in my basement and I shouted “GUILTY” so loud they heard me downstairs. Some of my friends did not know what that was about until one of my friends said “Oh she’s following some trial, the person must have been found guilty”.

I remember the case. I was surprised he ever got convicted in out current legal system. It’s amazing, he has six children of his own.

I hope he confessed his sins before he died but I’m not holding my breath. He had time to reflect on what he did before he died but he still probably thought he did nothing wrong other than getting caught.
I would NOT want to be him right now.
In life, he was a horrible person who did horrible things.
He now faces the ultimate judgment, as we all will. God is Mercy. God is Justice.

I would add, that as horrible as Gosnell was during his time as a murdering abortionist, it is not the sum of our bad vs. good deeds that gets us into Heaven for Eternity. It is simply Romans 10:9:
“9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Anyone we might think might be deserving of Hell might well be in Heaven when we get there. Anyone - Gosnell, Hitler, etc. Saul/Paul is the Biblical example, or the thief on the cross.
And so it is with us, or anyone around us. It is never too late to give your heart to Jesus Christ, because then you will be saved, no matter what you have done.
I remember that trial. Only one reporter showed up to cover it.
I hope his prison life was “fun”, but he was probably segregated.
So we have the evil three: Gosnell, Mueller, and the Ayatolla. There might be four. Another person died recently where I thought “good riddance.” Cannot recall who.
If Gosnell hadn’t been caught in Pennsylvania, at the time a Republican state, Obama would have promoted him for Surgeon General. The democrats love their child predators.

You will be forgiven, But God is a father, and Jesus was his son. we are all the children.
Like all parents God forgives his children if they are truly repentant children, but we still have to face a punishment for what we did.
Punishment will be much less severe if we admit our transgressions, and ask forgiveness but a lesson still has to be taught.
I guess that is the difference between Catholics and Lutherans, at al.
Catholics believe in total absolution and Lutherans know there is a price to pay, a probation.
Our souls are eternal, our human bodies are not.
God gave us 10 commandments. Jesus gave us only one.
