Israel says it has killed Iran’s intelligence minister in third assassination in two days

Israel's Defense Forces said Wednesday that Iran's Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib had been killed in a "targeted strike" in Tehran, marking the third assassination of a high-ranking official in just two days.

Khatib played a significant role during the recent protests throughout Iran, including the arrest & killing of protestors and led terrorist activities against Israelis & Americans around the world," the IDF said in a post on social media.

"Similarly, he operated against Iranian citizens during the Mahsa Amini protests (2022–2023)," they added.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed Khatib's death in a post on X.

"The cowardly assassination of my dear colleagues Ismail Khatib, Ali Larijani, and Aziz Nasirzadeh, alongside some of their family members and accompanying team, has left us in deep mourning," Pezeshkian wrote.

It comes after Israel said Tuesday that Iran's top security official Ali Larijani and the commander of Iran's Basij forces, Gholamreza Soleimani, had both been killed. Iran's official judiciary news agency later confirmed the killing of Soleimani, the Associated Press reported.

According to AP, Iran's Supreme National Security Council released a statement confirming Larijani was killed "along with his son Morteza Larijani and the head of his office, Alireza Bayat, as well as several guards."

I can’t help but feel that this new tactic of openly executing the leadership of your enemy during a conflict, is going to come back to bite us in the future.

This is a completely new phenomena that we can’t predict how it will end up.

When it eventually comes back to kill our own leaders, I don’t want to hear any of you chickenhawks screaming about the incivility and barbarity of the groups responsible for it.

It actually isn't a "new phenomenon" ("phenomena" is plural btw). What's mostly new is the ability to actually execute it from the air with guided bombs and missiles.

In World War II, the Germans had plans to kidnap both Churchill and FDR. And the von Stauffenberg bomb plot to kill Hitler had involvement by both British intelligence and the Vatican.

Of course the US shot down Yamamoto in the South Pacific. And the British organized the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. They were reluctant to use that tactic after that, not because killing Heydrich was necessarily bad in itself, but because of the vicious German retribution visited on totally innocent Czech civilians.

These guys are all about loving their enemies. Should not have roughed them up. Now they will be big mad. I’m sure before we committed these acts they were full of love for our leaders.

There is nothing new about this tactic. The only thing different is technology.

And you don’t go on the world stage and state that you are going to assassinate Trump, or whoever.

No, cowardly is gunning down unarmed protesters by the tens of thousands with .50 cal machine guns. Killing those responsible for the mass murders is justice.

This is a very different kind of war. Usually the young men die, not the leaders. Maybe it’s because it’s the Persian country that has been taken over by the Muslim leaders and the general population doesn’t support them.

Heydrich was a miliary leader killed by Czechs during a foreign military occupation of Czechoslovakia.

Yamamoto was killed during an active campaign in the field of battle. Yes, they knew he was there and specifically targeted him but killing high ranking military personnel during an active military campaign in contested territory.

Both of these situations are completely different from lobbing a missile at a civilian leader’s home.

GUY MILLER 3 18 26 ISLAM HERE?? SURELY YOU JEST??

New York Post reports that Democratic People’s Republic of California legislators are pushing to make Mohammedan “holy days” state holidays.  "AB 2017 would designate Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as state holidays,” a move to make California’s unassimilated Mohammedan population feel more at home like the shithole countries they fled. ***********

Birth defects and impaired cognitive and physical development among offspring of Mohammedan “close relative” [ie, half sibling or first cousin] marriages are causing a tremendous burden on the United Kingdom National Health Service.  In response, they are now advertising for counselors to advise prospective spouses on the dangerous effects of such traditional marriages. Especially in Pakistani communities, IQ is so low that the education system is incapable of teaching children unable to learn.  Inbreeding, customary in Mohammedan tribal societies, causes progressive deterioration of intellect with each generation.  That’s how they did it in the Stone Age, and still do. ************

PJ Media reports that Zohran Mamdani is outraged that repeated terrorist attacks by jihadist Mohammedans leads to people discussing the news.  It is “Islamophobia,” he insists, to refer to Islamic terrorists as Islamic terrorists.  Just because they try to blow up people doesn’t make them criminals, in the famous words of Jasmine Crockett.

Semper fi.
