The Israeli military is using a new method to launch drone swarms over Iran targeting security forces in domestic response, familiar sources with the material gold of Iran International.
[In fierce] attacks on Wednesday night, Israel carried out precision drone strikes against [religious] militia checkpoints that had been set up across Tehran in recent days.
Informed sources gold Iran International that the Israeli military is carrying out such operations through a new method what uses a flying platform acting as a “mother launcher” to deploy drones equipped with artificial intelligence and a large database of targets.
Israel makes extensive use of artificial intelligence and computer guidance to operate the new weapons system, enabling wide-range surveillance, identification and pre-charge strikes.
The system is bound to be capable of recognizing high precise strikes based on identification of individualities.
To enable the use of the method, Israel, in cooperation with the United States, established air superiority over Iranian skies in the early phase of the military campaign against Iran which began on February 28. by suppressing Iranian air defenses, leaving the way for the deployment of the system.
Most reconnaissance and surveillance operations in Iran are currently used Israeli Hermes and Heron drones, as well as US MQ-9 Reaper drones.
Israel's offensive drone operations under the “mother ship” or “mother launcher” concept have three main characteristics:
1. the ability to deploy large numbers of attacks, including microdrones
2. lattice-centric or data-driven attack capability supported by artificial intelligence
3. operations based on an AI-driven target database capable of predictive threat analysis and identifying behavior patterns of human targets on the ground high-altitude flight and relative low noise
A notable feature of the current aerial campaign in Iran is Israel's move toward manned–unmanned teaming (MUM-T).
Under this approach, drones used in intensive operations in Iran are arranged from three main platforms.
Transport aircraft such as the C-130 are used as a drone carriers capable of releasing large numbers of attack drones at high altitude, allowing them to travel hundreds of kilometers beyond the range they could cover if launched from the field.
Large UAVs such as the Heron, capable of flying at altitudes of about 45,000 feet, may also serve as airborne carriers capable of deploying micro-drones against pressure forces and other military targets.
Israeli fighter jets including the F-15I Ra'am and F-16I Sufa can also carry small drones in pods or on wing pilots and release them at high altitude to act as decoys, electronic warfare disrupters or reconnaissance observers.

This introduces a whole new level of warfare. We may not need troops on the ground, just drones in the air.
Yeah, tie this with the related attacks-on-mobile-checkpoint article and we have “boots on the ground” kind of damage going on.
Almost like NJ.
Exactly. This probably will not have a major impact in Iran but we are entering a new age of warfare. This is science fiction. The US and Israel are using Iran as the testing ground for battlefield drone swarms for a major conflict. China and Russia should be very worried. China probably has something similar, but it isn’t tested and probably is junk compared to the US / Israeli version.
I think it could have a major impact. Sinwar was taken out by a drone - I think this IS the way forward vs ‘troops on the ground’ .
Yeah, but they just give tickets on the turnpike.
Thinking out loud - let’s say thousands of drones take to the sky’s over a major Iranian city, and the Iranian people take to the streets. A few weeks ago, they had no protection, now they do..
This is scifi warfare from sci fi books I’ve read when I was young.
UAE says they are shooting down drones with Apache helicopters.
On another note, the latest Apaches are equipped with a surveillance drone that ban scout miles ahead.
” This probably will not have a major impact in Iran”
But I think it will. Read this related article (also sadly originally in Persian):

The drone swarms are being used to (among other things) attack the checkpoints and IRGC positions that maintain regime control.
That’s like having snipers all over Tehran.
Yeah, the Iranian drones are pretty slow, prop plane, speed.
As an aside, here is a video of the US-version of the Shaheed drone popping a Shiite militia location.
It sounds a bit like a WWII style dive bomber. Needs whistles for effect.
Turn the sound up.
Sound effects were added.
You think?
Sounds just like a rear prop engine in a dive to me.
For clarity, I don’t doubt you, but it sounds both like small arms AAA (which I’ve heard plenty of) and a rear prop in a dive (which I’ve only heard from my friend’s Piagio coming in steep to pick us up, which is admitted much larger and dual engine).
Israel realizes that this is all for naught unless there is a regime change. They are concentrating their efforts to killing IRGC and the goons.
“For clarity, I don’t doubt you,”
For sure, I am not sure.
“Thinking out loud - let’s say thousands of drones take to the sky’s over a major Iranian city, and the Iranian people take to the streets. A few weeks ago, they had no protection, now they do..”
Air cover for the demonstrators?
Sort of like the development of tank warfare to break through the trench warfare of WWI, these drones might call for an entirely new military doctrine which would be used to counter both missile defense and to some extent, replace boots on the ground.
” China and Russia should be very worried. “
Why would they be worried? After all, your AI is leaking information about how it does things and other, less friendly AIs are learning.
