Barcelona has always been a weird city but now it's getting really weird, and not in a good way.
As Front Page Magazine reported, citing Spain's ABC:
The Barcelona City Council , through its Office of Religious Affairs (OAR), has distributed to the city’s schools the guide ‘Guidelines for educational centers on Ramadan,’ in which it recommends that school principals , as a gesture of respect for the Muslim celebration, which this year began on February 18 and concludes on March 20, not carry out extracurricular activities such as music or dance, which may be considered by some people as ‘inappropriate’ in this month ‘dedicated to spirituality.’

A month of bans on music and dancing (for Spaniards no less) to accommodate Islamic colonialism?
Really?
The same article noted that the Ayatollah Khomeini once said, “There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious.”
Well, bleep that! Then there is certainly no me in Islam, I assure you!
By the way, did you hear the one about the priest, pastor, and imam who walked into a bar? No? O.K., here it goes: the priest walks up to the bar and says, “bartender, I’ll have the usual.” The pastor bellies up and says, “I’ll take a Miller High Life, please.” Then the imam pulls out a gun and shoots them all dead while yelling “Allahu Akhbar!” (Gets me every time!)
Wanna know what actually is funny? Mocking those whose sole reason for existence appears to be to defraud or destroy the U.S. Like those who run the Learing Centers.

Footloose for a whole city!
Seems to me that the people that do this accommodation to the Islamic faith are scared to death of being the first ones against the wall when the Muzzies take over and want to be able to show how they tried to help usher in their new overlords in attempt to gain some mercy or at least to be the last ones flushed down the toilet.
“...not carry out extracurricular activities such as music or dance, which may be considered by some people as ‘inappropriate’”
Shut up and bow down to “some people”, you peons.
This could just be the Catalans way of sticking it to the Spanish.
Feed the alligator in the hope he eats you last.
Spain should cut Catalonia loose. Catalonia was Commie-Central during The Spanish Civil War.
They’re cooked. Once you start bowing to Islam there is no stopping.
Would they do the same for your religion ? NOPE , so screw them
Spain spent more than a half century ridding itself of Muslims. Now it’s telling its citizens to honor Ramadan. Are there edicts going to the schools about honoring Lent?
This is sad, many years ago we spent a week there. It was a great city and we loved it. Now it’s gone
Ferdinand knew how to fix this, and did.
Jihad triumphant in Barcelona. Worldwide, many cities have fallen. Jihadists and their converts/recruits/enablers rejoice. Freedom squelched.
Those dour moops at it again.
“A month of bans on music and dancing (for Spaniards no less) to accommodate Islamic colonialism?”
How about a month of deportation of the subhuman muslim(SPIT!) filth?
They’ve totally forgotten about La Reconquista... and what they had to do to regain possession of their country from the islamists. It took them over 700 years, and now they’re re-surrendering it in a blink of an eye.
FOOLS!
Apparently the entirety of Europe is just a few stonings short of being completely subjugated to Islam.
Well they’ve never been to Spain, but they don’t kinda like the music.
Dear Barcelona,
Her Most Catholic Majesty, Queen Isabella, would like a word with you.
