The United States began a large military exercise with South Korea involving thousands of troops on Monday (Mar 9) while also waging an escalating war in the Middle East.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff has said about 18,000 Korean troops will take part in Freedom Shield, which runs through Mar 19. US Forces Korea hasn’t confirmed the number of American troops participating in the training in South Korea.
The allies’ combined exercise comes amid South Korean media speculation that Washington is relocating some assets from South Korea to support fighting against Iran.

This just goes to illustrate how powerful the US Armed Forces are. One reason why the Trump presidency is important, because we can be sure he is allocating proper attention to ensuring the military retains its overwhelming strength.
Part of what we are doing in Iran is sending a message to bad actors like China, Russia and North Korea that US deterrence is back and they need to knock it off with their trouble making around the world.
Trumps’s actions in the Middle East have major geopolitical benefits and taking down China a few notches is the biggest of them all.
China has been running wild in the world with it's Belt and Road initiate bey which the Chinese sucker in third world countries with phony extravagant promises that they default on and the Chinese then enslave them debt enforced by a strong arm Chinese military presence int heir country.
Trump is showing these disaffected and bamboozled third world countries how to shake off the Chinese soft takeover of their countries.
