Throughout the Biden administration, the US gave military intelligence from satellites and other sources to Ukraine which was used by Ukraine to target Russian forces. In addition the United States has provided hundreds of millions of dollars of military equipment to Ukraine even before Russia invaded Ukraine.
Likely that assistance to the Ukraine forces killing Russian soldiers and striking targets inside Russia has continued under the Trump administration. It is therefore not unexpected that Russia is providing similar assistance to its ally Iran, to enable Iran to counter the combined US/Israel attack on Iran.
This isn’t Russia stabbing Trump in the back. This is quid pro quo for the aid the US gives Russia’s enemy. There are consequences when a nation supplies war material and assistance to other nations. In the relations between nations, turnabout is fair play.
“This is quid pro quo for the aid the US gives Russia’s enemy.”
