Dead Man Warring

~HEADLINES TO PONDER:

Greece to Exhume 150 COVID-19 Graves After Bodies Fail to Decompose

I think the plan is to raise an Army of the Undead to take Iran.

~WHAT'S DO-ABLE:

Matt Walsh:

"This is the status quo you're expected to accept: we can terminate the supreme leader of Iran despite all his security but we can't deport Somali fraudsters in Minneapolis... we can't do anything about the clear and obvious threats in this country right now." pic.twitter.com/A8oF1UWz0w — The American Conservative (@amconmag) March 4, 2026

There is always a risk in venturing abroad to slay dragons. As one observer put it:

In devoting his energies to the war, the President let his domestic agenda die.

Actually, that was me. When? Earlier this week? Er, no, just the usual sod-bollocking twenty-four years ago. The distinction has widened since then. As to whacking a head of state "despite all his security", the more obvious difference is that a Minnesota daycare owner enjoys the protection of the district-court judge in Dead Moose Junction, whereas a supreme ayatollah enjoys merely the protection of "international law", which half the countries on earth, starting with multiple Nato members, huff that Trump is in flagrant breach of. The Administration is prepared to spend a year in court litigating the potential deportation of some no-name Somali "educator", whereas Khamenei or Maduro or Starmer can just be terminated on Day One.

International law is whatever two countries agree it sisat any given time.

And all human rights lawyers - including Amal Clooney! - should be sent to Iran. Today!

Bush's neglect of the home front, even if you don't factor in the eventual loss on all the foreign battlefields, was not helpful. Imagine if, in October 2001, the President had dropped a few daisycutters on Mullah Omar's compound in Kandahar and then flown home to announce an immediate Coolidge-like "pause" on all mass migration, followed by a Nato summit at which, in return for the continued protection of the US security umbrella, Europe and Canada agreed to do likewise - which, granted, might have required a bit of strongarming of the kind Richard Armitage, Colin Powell's deputy, applied ro General Musharraf.

Ah, what might have been....

“ we can terminate the supreme leader of Iran despite all his security but we can’t deport Somali fraudsters in Minneapolis...”

Correct. Trump and the military are in charge of Iran

Congress, judiciary and the state legislatures are in charge of blocking removal of illegals

I am not sure that Steyn is trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together, but it seems clear to me that Trump is working outside of the jurisdiction of the Resistance US Judiciary.

I’m not sure what Trump has against GITMO, as I believe that is its purpose.

~WANKER OF THE WEEK (WE MAY HAVE TO RETIRE THE TROPHY): The British Prime Minister takes time out of his hectic schedule of undertipping his Ukrainian rent-boys to hold press conferences announcing ostentatiously that, whatever's going on in the news, he's got nothing to do with it, whether it's bombing Iran or shagging Bonnie Blue. However, his Deputy PM, one David Lammy, is fully geopolitically engaged. Here he is demonstrating how up to speed he is on, er, foreign affairs by pledging to defend a, er, British military base - RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, which has come under drone attack by Iran. Says the Deputy Prime Minister:

The safety of that base is also essential. It's not just a base that serves the United Kingdom, it serves the region, and of course we work very much with our allies because Cyprus is a Nato country.

Er, Cyprus is not in Nato. But maybe he'd been up late with Kamala Harris...

LOL!

Since they are only going to deport the worst of the worst violent criminal aliens, this administration has decided to give defacto amnesty to everyone else, including the Somali fraudsters.

We have been abandoned.

The Insurrection Act offered the perfect opportunity to suppress the Dems and deport all the Somalis in MN, but Trump backed down.

The primary threat to the US is the lawless Democratic Party, the left in general, and their infestation of public institutions that act as a ratchet to ensure the national steering wheel only turns to the left. The actual law and Constitution mean nothing: any text or precedent will be twisted to obstruct, delay, deny.

The Dems and the left cannot be defeated using normal legal process. Just like the cartels, they are criminal organizations too large and too comprehensive to be fought by law enforcement.

Trump simply lacks the courage of his convictions or simply fails to see the danger clearly.

While Stein’s hypothetical idea here sounds good in principle …how exactly would that have helped Israel?

No, there is no need to be sad or drink cocoa. I’m just letting the plan trusters know they have been abandoned and to act accordingly.

Be specific.

Just making sure everyone has an accurate understanding of what we are dealing with....that’s it. Not even stomping my feet.

Not every thing is trumps fault

Congress bears responsibility

If they are so unlawful along with the judiciary then if you want Trump to fix them it will simply take time and effort

If you want to help him why don’t you?

Congress has been almost totally useless for P Trump. After the midterms - if the GOP maintains its majorities - all bets are off.

Sorry, but the failure to use the Insurrection Act is wholly Trump's fault.

You can't help someone who won't help himself or who refuses to see the extent of the danger. Trump still thinks the rules of normal politics apply despite the fraud of 2020 and the multiple attempts to imprison him and ruin him financially and the successful attempts to ruin or imprison his supporters like Flynn, Giuliani, Bannon and Navarro.
