Two Iranian drones attacked the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Monday night.
Since the joint U.S.-Israeli airstrikes wreaked havoc on Iran, killing many Islamic Republic military leaders including the country’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, Tehran has hit back with a series of counterattacks on U.S. personnel and allies in the region.
Little information on the attack is available as of yet, though CNN’s Nic Robertson was live reporting on the incident Monday night from Riyadh.

these are little pin pricks. They killed 6 Americans with a lucky strike. This has been an outstanding military operation. Less than 2 days to have air superiority. Now they are gonna get completely blasted. The media is so worried this is gonna work and help him politically.

I don’t expect for everything to be caught, but somebody dropped the ball.
Isn’t there a program that tracks objects in the sky and will automatically issue alerts if certains are met? This would be done my the computer and not depend on humans.
Israel and the US have probably pinpointed every missile launch out of Iran over the past 40 hours or so... And soon they’ll obliterate all of those sites.

I have a dumb question for someone of knowledge about our AWACS. They have “look down” capability with their sophisticated radars. The drones are subsonic. Why can they get through our defenses? If you know where it is, it would be an easy shoot down.
Question:
Where are the AWACS planes? Shouldn’t they be able to detect these drone/missile launches? Need a few squadrons of A-10’s loitering above to take out the drones as they launch.
