WASHINGTON — The Department of Justice held off on searching President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate for classified documents until then-President Joe Biden could receive a “brief” and officials could “coordinate” with the White House Counsel’s office, according to unclassified emails obtained by The Post.
The emails undercut Biden’s claim that he had no prior knowledge of the FBI raid on his political rival’s home. They also reveal the desire by at least one top DOJ official to charge ahead with a dramatic search, saying he didn’t “give a damn about the optics.”
The communications, which were first reported by Fox News, with DOJ and FBI officials took place between April 2022 and the days immediately following the Aug. 8 execution of a search warrant that year on Trump’s residence in Palm Beach, Fla.
“This event is dependent upon the timeline of President Biden’s brief, decision, and coordination between WH Counsel and DOJ,” an unidentified FBI official wrote in a May 10 email to others in the bureau’s Washington Field Office.
The message underscored how Trump’s attorney Evan Corcoran could potentially seek “an injunction to prevent access” or assert the former president’s executive privilege.

The people around Biden certainly everything about the raid on Mar-a-Lago, in Biden’s defense his mind was so far gone, he could credibly say he knew nothing about the raid, and you could believe it.
Biden lied. He lied about not having pre-warning. He lied about the White House attorneys not being involved. He ignored or refused to hear anything from the FBI agents involved. He lied about the ‘documents’ which he reclassified that Trump had declassified in regards to the Obama and Joe Biden political spying.
To me, even if Trump had classified information he was entitled to it, and he decides what is declassified and what is not. If the National Achieves wanted the records, they shouldn’t have had them dumped his records in a parking lot.
The entire escapade was a political hack to ‘get Trump’. 10 fired FBI employees, one head of the National Achieves removed isn’t enough. The total disregard for the ‘politization and weaponization’ by Obama and Biden by government employees shouldn’t be tolerated at all, and it will happen again. IMHO they need to start hanging people, really, right on Television who use their government positions in Justice or Intelligence for political gain.
They are, in the very real sense.

Of course they weren’t. Everyone thought there was absolutely no way Trump would ever be able to gain office again and they felt invincible. They knew the “news” media would cover for them.
