The former Norwegian foreign minister said he had decided “after careful consideration” to step down as president and chief executive of the forum.
GENEVA (AP) — World Economic Forum head Børge Brende said Thursday that he is stepping down after facing pressure over his contacts with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Brende, a former Norwegian foreign minister, said in a statement that he had decided “after careful consideration” to step down as president and chief executive of the forum, known for its annual January summit in the Swiss Alpine resort of Davos.
“I am grateful for the incredible collaboration with my colleagues, partners, and constituents, and I believe now is the right moment for the Forum to continue its important work without distractions,” Brende said in a statement released by the WEF.
Brende was Norway’s foreign minister from 2013-2017 and is one of several prominent Norwegians who have faced scrutiny following the latest release of Epstein files.
He didn’t refer directly to that controversy in Thursday’s statement, but the WEF announced earlier this month that it was opening an internal review into Brende to determine his relationship with Epstein after files indicated the two had dined together several times and exchanged messages.

DRIP DRIP...
Drop the final 3 million papers and be done with this. What is taking Bondi so long? It’s basically running each sheet through a scanner. The redacted portions surely been done since it’s almost a year now.

It appears that the world is run by scoundrels.

Have you ever gone through 3 million pages, analyzed them for what needs to be redacted, what is subject to court seal orders, what is classified or subject to multiple privileges, and whether the document is responsive to the request for documents?
In civil litigation, that’s a team of paralegals and lawyers working for months. Then it has to be reviewed by senior people, approved, and released.
One of the things the Epstein documents release has been problematic for is that the DOJ and FBI has to allocate a LOT of resources to reviewing documents.
I would rather have them than going after bad guys, terrorists, the folks who ran Arctic Frost/Crossfire Hurricane, the folks who have perpetrated billions in NGO fraud, the folks funding and organizing the anti-ICE riots, the folks who funded the BLM/Antifa 2020 riots, and sweeping the DOJ clean of Biden/Obama moles.
If this continues, 80% of the world’s ruling elite will be out of power within a year.

Epstein hordes falling like used condoms at a Hollywood starlet audition.
One one hand, the Epstein files are almost exclusively implicating friends of the deep-state, friends of the rump British empire, and friends of Davos/WEF
All Trump’s and America’s enemies
Yet I believe Trump meant it when he said Epstein files would be treated as a distraction. And both Bondi and Patel have, to some extent, argued the same.
I don’t believe Trump either is playing “4-D chess”
My only thought is that perhaps there is no clear political angle on this.
Wexner and Gates need to go next. They should be charged as co-conspirators, but this was never, ever about justice for the victims. Not under Biden, not under Trump.
From report I saw last night I’d say Gates time is almost up...
Remember in the movie ‘Taken. Near the end, Liam Neilson‘s character saves his daughter from being sold to a bunch of billionaire perverts. I thought that was outlandish fiction at the time… or at least the type of behavior reserved for third world tyrants. This Epstein case tells me such events and people are very real and part of our western cultural elites. What percent of the elites actually participate in such evil behavior? I don’t know, but it’s surely more than I would have thought only a few years ago.
These peoples’ sleaziness is only matched by their stupidity. If you are a senior government official or billionaire, why the Hell would you be letting Epstein find women for you? Even without all that has come out over the past couple of years, there would be a good chance that he would use the information against you or it would get out somehow. Not to be crass, but these people should have just anonymously hired a high-end hooker off of some website.
Are you kidding? This is important because it involves children. I think it should be the number one priority. If it was just adults than maybe lower the priority. These people ruined tons of lives.
And I want every one of them exposed and put in jail. This rises to “crimes against humanity” in my book. They cannot be allowed to run even a single small country, let alone the USA. I don’t care who is implicated. And while I would try to avoid collateral damage to innocent parties, I wouldn’t worry excessively about it. This is a war and the rules of war should apply.
Possibly true

Would be a good start
