Bullet holes were found on the wing of an American Airlines Boeing jet after landing in Miami from Colombia, according to a report.
Flight AA923 landed at the Miami International Airport on Monday when a routine post-flight inspection found the puncture marks on the 737 MAX 8’s right aileron, which is responsible for lateral balance, AirLive reported.
Despite the puncture marks, the aircraft flew and landed safely.

I knew a fellow in the 1980s who decided to drive his new pickup truck all the way down to Columbia and back as a working vacation trip. When he returned to the Georgia his truck was riddled with bullet holes. It was a tough sell.
Well, announcing this so publicly gives who ever did the shooting a confirmation of how far you need to lead an airplane in order to hit it. That information will be spread around amongst the drug cartels and all of them will be taking pot shots at airplanes now.

I don’t know his route. He did have photos of some terrible roads, bridges, and other roadway hazards.
