Burt Jones is the incumbent Lt. Gov., and has been endorsed by President Trump.
Brad Raffensperger is the incumbent Secretary of State.
This result is a flip-flop of the top two slots of a recent Cygnal poll.
I'll point out the large number of undecided voters and that if no candidate receives a majority in the primary on May 19th, the top two will advance to a runoff on June 16th.
He looks interesting.
No RINO scent on him.
And Raffensperger is depsised among conservatives in GA. DEM voters got him in.
The June 16th primary runoff has been on my calendar for weeks. I know we’ll be voting then.
At this time, he has little or no RINO stench to him
Raffensperger needs to be investigated and his finances audited.
Jackson is getting my vote. Career politicians have done nothing except run our country/state into the ground.
Nothing against Jackson because he’s a pretty clean slate who nobody knows much about, but I don’t see what’s wrong with Burt Jones.
Trump often goes out of his way to endorse squishes over conservatives, but this wasn’t one of those times.
Yes, Raffensperger may be in the race... but we all know who he is, he doesn’t stand a chance even in Georgia’s open primary system (probably won’t even make the runoff), so there’s really no need for people to keep hyperventilating about him just because they see his name.
Really intriguing candidate.
Great personal story—raised in foster care, 6 foster families and somehow emerged from that pit, indicating he is tough as boot leather. He has several charities backing children from foster care.
I first became aware of him on a piece about 2 weeks ago—prior to him announcing his candidacy—where he was credited with keeping open the LAST domestic antibiotic plant and preventing its being shipped off to China. Cost him millions and is a huge national security issue.
He announced about a week ago and I have already received 3 mailers, which shows he has a decisive campaign organized. Says he will put up an INITIAL $40 million for his campaign.
Built a $3 billion medical services company.
Running on low taxes, with ascertainable metrics—cut income tax in half; ban DEI/woke; freeze property taxes; ban government benefits to the non-working; the only plank which causes me concern is deporting CRIMINAL illegal immigrants—needs to broader than those simply here illegally, but if benefits are dried up, most will self deport.
I did an AI check on him—he has contributed to Republicans over the years, some who ended up disappointing [Raffsenperger, Kemp et al] but also good ones. Newt is backing him, as he was adjacent to Newt’s district years ago.
I had backed Burt Jones, who had fought for Trump in Georgia’s elections disgrace, but right now I am tentatively backing “Action Jackson.”
All this in a week.
My family and I will NOT be voting for Rick. We are also actively encouraging others not to vote for Rick.
Rick is trying to muddy the waters in Georgia’s Open Primary voting system. Rick is trying to guarantee the rats who will cross over and vote for the rats’ favorite Republican candidate, John Ossoff.
Thanks for your observations on the race, Jackson has saturated the market (I too have received 3 pieces). Burt has the endorsement, but every other candidate (including Jackson) is claiming to be a ‘TRUMP Republican’
I’m not sold yet, but you make some good points.
“Brad Raffensperger 9”. I certainly hope it will not be Ratsperger.
But I'm not in Georgia...
