So far, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer hasn't been linked to any suggested wrongdoing revealed by the Epstein files. But his decision to give another politician, whose ties to Jeffrey Epstein have been laid bare by the documents, the vital job of ambassador in Washington D.C. has drawn a ferocious backlash.
As the most tumultuous week in his premiership ends, Starmer is facing calls from his political opponents, and some party allies, to step down from Britain's top job.
What did he know, and when did he know it? Those are the big questions facing Starmer amid outrage over his decision last year to appoint Peter Mandelson as Britain's top diplomat in the United States, despite Mandelson's known ties to Epstein.
Documents released by the U.S. Congress last year showed Mandelson maintained contact with Epstein after the convicted pedophile was released from jail, and the latest massive dump of files by the Justice Department last week raised damning questions about him possibly sharing state secrets with the American financier.

Whatever replaces him will be even worse.
Perhaps, but I’m counting on Amelia.
That hyperbolic ipse dixit begs a question: Nigel Farage as PM worse than Sir Keir? Methinks not.
Yes, Starmer is not likely to survive this, because it be shown that he knew and still appointed him.
Lots of FR folks on the Epstein list from accounts..
If Keir resigns, he’ll be replaced by another Labour-ite.
Elections aren’t for a few more years.
🤣😂
Perhaps but present level of PM-Epstein intrigue IMO puts possible snap election in the cards which in turn could put NF in No. 10.
“In January 2026, a release of documents relating to Epstein showed Mandelson and his then partner Reinaldo da Silva (now husband) received upwards of $75,000 in payments from Epstein, the first of such payments having been made to Mandelson in 2003. According to the documents, da Silva was sent thousands of pounds between 2009 and 2010.”
“Epstein paid for commercial flights for Mandelson. Financial records from the U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Committee show that Epstein paid for two commercial flights for Mandelson in April 2003, totaling more than $7,400 (£5,400). Emails from October 2005 show that after Mandelson complained to Epstein about a lack of British Airways air miles, Epstein offered to pay for his plane tickets to the Caribbean. It is unknown if Mandelson accepted the offer. It also emerged that in 2002, Mandelson encouraged then prime minister Tony Blair to meet Epstein, and that during his time as business secretary, Mandelson reportedly asked Epstein to broker a deal for the sale of a UK taxpayer-owned banking business.”

Is there any reason to suspect the obviously gay Mandelson of partaking of Epstein’s young females?
Too late,,,,Muslims have taken over England.
Here’s hoping!
When it comes to the game of politics, Liberals are way smarter than Conservatives.
The stupid Conservative party was looking for ANY little thing to kick out Bojo who had just led Conservatives to an historic win.
They replaced him with what a Globalist shill, who married a billionairess whose wealth came from overseas.
The liberals paid a price being loyal to Jeremy Corbyn, but the Conservatives disloyalty to Bojo would eventually overcome that.
I don’t see the Liberals dumping two-tier Keir no matter what he does.
When Starmer goes it will be by way of a general election.
But that is no certainty unless the Reform Party becomes the dominant party.
The liberals will win the next general if there is an even split between the anti-labour voting Conservative and Reform Parties.
Farage and his Party are Britain's only hope for recovery where society is more settled and prosperous.
Exactly.
There’s already plenty of things he should step down for, he’s despised by so many already. His party hasn’t called for his resignation, why start now? Everyone know voting isn’t going to change anything, it’s one big swamp.
Anyone that thinks this is all happening at the hands of Starmer doesn’t understand the problem.
basically the devil we know vs the one we don’t
Epstein provided a full service—young men (boys?) if the client requested them.
Nope, nothing ever touches these commies.
Anyone really believe both the CIA and MI6 didn’t know about Mandelson’s involvement with Epstein?
Interesting. Keira meand p*nis is Farsi, so I guess he is a “Big Keir”...
