NATO Chief Says Western Troops to Be Deployed in Ukraine the Moment Peace Is Concluded
TASS ^ | 2/3/25

Other types of NATO assistance will still be provided to Ukraine, Mark Rutte said

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. The armed forces of the so-called coalition of the willing will be deployed in Ukraine on land, at sea, and in the air once a peace agreement with Russia is concluded, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said.

Speaking in the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian parliament), he emphasized that as soon as Russia and Ukraine sign a peace agreement, the coalition of the willing countries that have agreed to support Kiev will deploy their armed forces to Ukraine, dispatch jets, and provide sea support.

The NATO chief added that other NATO member states would continue to provide assistance in other ways.

Russia is against the presence of NATO servicemen in Ukraine. On December 17, 2025, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow’s position on deploying Western troops in Ukraine is consistent and well-known. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that providing Ukraine with security guarantees through "foreign military intervention on some part of Ukrainian territory" would be unacceptable to Russia.

London and Davos STILL trying to drag the USA into their conflict.

Trump won’t play the stooge for these globalist/neo-marxist ghouls, but they are working overtime through all their political, finance and media agents in the USA to install a Democrat who will comply.

They keep talking about things that can’t happen without an end to the conflict, but they do nothing to end the conflict.

Then, the war will continue and Ukraine will ultimately cease to exist.

Well, that should settle things. So Russia agrees to a piece deal, and gets NATO on the doorstep. That threat is enough to keep the war going.

Seems like there's a long way to go before this war will end.

Maybe another 5-10 years.

LOL, some people are never happy. Now European countries are helping Ukraine defend themselves and would station their troops in Ukraine which would not trigger Article 5 if attacked but you're still complaining. Okay

LOL, because stationed western troops in Ukraine, would actually prevent the next Russian planned invasion and annexation of "historic Russian" lands.

Europe can send all the troops they like to Ukraine - but they will not. It’s 100% guaranteed they will not

Its pure Brussels political show

They can’t fight a real war, so they fight a PR one instead.

NATO is already on their doorstep. Finland-Russian border.

And as to NATO being a threat to Russia:

Russian tankers in the Black Sea are now sailing as close as possible to the NATO coastline to prevent possible Ukrainian naval drone strikes. In other words, Russia is seeking NATO protection against Ukraine.

Great, so a reasonable Putin should agree to western troops in Ukraine.

LOL. nice backward thinking.

They will not, because Putin has told them NO.

Its sad when the globalist/Marxist Euro-trash can't finish wars they start.

Actually, in the real world, Russia has failed to make any significant advances in a couple of months. Russia is simply burning through a battalion or more per day for nothing. They haven't even taken all of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

You must reading the same BS Gerasimov is feeding Putin.
