Rupert Lowe has unleashed a blistering critique of new Reform UK members Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick, claiming they squandered taxpayer money on a $2.2 billion asylum agreement. Lowe, now representing Great Yarmouth as an Independent MP, dedicated his morning to revealing on X the "staggering" details of the $2.2 billion deal, with particular emphasis on the controversial Bibby Stockholm barge.
At the heart of his criticism lies the "Provision of Bridging Accommodation and Travel Services" contract. The agreement, granted to Corporate Travel Management (North) Limited, a company based in Bradford, encompassed the management of the Bibby Stockholm stationed off Portland Port in Dorset.
Although the vessel was ultimately retired and removed in January 2025, the enormous total cost continues to spark heated political debate.
Official records from the contract show the scope of taxpayer-funded services. Through the "wrap-around" support framework, the government pledged to deliver round-the-clock security, full medical services and dedicated transportation arrangements enabling migrants to reach local facilities whenever needed.
Further examination of the censored "Statement of Requirements" reveals that the multi-billion-dollar contract ensured "high-speed Wi-Fi throughout" and supplied mobile phones to keep residents reachable around the clock. The agreement also required a professional laundry service, explicitly prohibiting residents from doing their own laundry, with a guaranteed 48-hour turnaround for all laundry.

I drove around London about three years ago with my spouse who had worked there a while back.
It was dingy, dirty, and shabby. I was shocked. I do not think at this point in time, there is any hope that Britain will recover a sense of its pride of place.

I have a few questions about purity. I want to know that if I was my children’s clothes with my clothes (that I pray in) in the washing machine, will my clothes then become impure if they had some Najis on them. Are washing machines or plastic tubs considered Najis if you have previously washed something impure in them? (Some people told me that once a plastic item is impure then you cannot make it pure no more even if you wash it). How many times do you have to wash clothes in a washing machine for them to be considered pure?
I’m looking forward to your answer as I’m in doubt now whether I can’t pray in the clothes that have been washed with impure clothes.
This is really stupid if they want to migrate they must have money to pay their own way
The “migrants” here get free phones and WiFi…….the ones in hotels probably get free laundry. The illegals are given homes with mortgage subsidies, free health and dental care, etc. it’s a total rip off of the taxpayers and democrats will shut down the government again to keep them from being deported.
Hakeem Jeffries is so angry about deportations of their voting base that he’s called for Noem to be PUT ON ICE. We all know what that “ganster slang” means.
Half the democrat patty meeds to be IN PRISON.
