Apple slammed after internal memo about Minneapolis ICE killing leaks online

Apple CEO Tim Cook has been mobbed by a wave of criticism after his private memo to company employees about the civil unrest in Minnesota was leaked online.

While addressing the killing of ICU nurse and ICE protester Alex Pretti, Cook reportedly said: 'This is a time for de-escalation,' and added that he had a 'good conversation' with President Donald Trump regarding the situation in Minneapolis.

'I believe America is strongest when we live up to our highest ideals, when we treat everyone with dignity and respect no matter who they are or where they’re from, and when we embrace our shared humanity,' the unconfirmed letter from Cook read.

Despite Cook's calls for calm as tensions surrounding the Trump Administration's immigration policies reach a breaking point, scores of critics on social media pounced on the Apple CEO for not condemning the Pretti's shooting.

'Exhibit A for weak leadership 101,' one person wrote on X.

'Tim needs to focus on making the iPhone keyword work well again,' another person commented.

The memo leaked after Pretti was fatally shot by a Border Patrol agent on January 24 during a targeted immigration enforcement operation.

The nurse was armed with a loaded handgun, which he had a legal permit to carry, when he allegedly tried to stop agents from detaining a woman. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said shots were fired 'defensively' as Pretti allegedly became violent with officers.

“...when we treat everyone with dignity and respect no matter who they are...” Hey timmy, does that apply to folks trying to perform their assigned tasks in a (gasp!) hostile setting? Asking for a friend. Another rich dumbass!

[[when we treat everyone with dignity and respect no matter who they are or where they’re from]]

Yeah by golly, let’s treat rapists, murderers, thieves, and illegal criminals with respect no matter where they are from. /S

If Tim didn’t mention “Trump” the left tards wouldn’t care-however Tim used “good” and “Trump” in the same sentence-the left can’t stand that.

Apple is now seeing what sank Intel.
Hiring crazy people results in a company in collapse.
Cook needs to clean house.
Andy Grove didn’t see it coming at Intel.
Those in the trenches saw it.

Apple is a stronghold of DEI.

They’re still hiring the crazies. That is who receives conservative money. The crazies and DEI.

I am Charlie Kirk

It seems that your tagline is beyond America's attention-span.

I wouldn’t give a fig about protesting college students and tacticool larpers.
The problem is the MN administration is complicit. Everyone is pretty much convinced the riots are a coverup for the fraud being exposed. MN is becoming a failed state. So is California. Time to clean house.

“They’re still hiring the crazies.”

*************

The crazies will eventually turn on you. That’s what happens when you hire unstable, insecure and highly emotional people. Eventually something they don’t like will trigger them into a paroxysm that can spread amongst other like-minded colleagues.

I disagree. Criminal invaders and their protectors deserve what they get.

These “smart” CEO’s just never learn that when they start pontificating on politics and social issues from their lofty pulpits they are always wrong to about half of their audience and nothing good can come of it.

Much better to stick to business and producing over priced phones.

Remember when Tim Cook sent out an email calling for de-escalation and the cessation of violence after the 2 assassination attempts on Trump? After Charlie Kirk was assassinated? After Tim Walz and Frey called for violent suppress of ICE, a legitimate federal organization?

No? Huh… so much for “valoos”

My wife works in corporate communications. She is often asked by the leaders of her company if they should be sending out messages about these things. It’s maddening listening to her try to convince these liberal idiots that not every national event requires a “statement.”

Once the Head of Diversity asked her to write a statement about the whole “Attacks on Asians” stuff a couple of years ago. My wife did some research and found at hate crimes on Asians happened once or twice in New England…over the past decade. The message would have been irrelevant.

She was so satisfied when the President of the company agreed with her.

These liberals are insufferable.

The woman was shoved out of the way, it didn’t look like aggressive was being detained. Pretti jumped in there after she was on the ground and was grabbing at her backpack- I don’t see how that can be interpreted as him trying to keep ghee from being detained. The agents then grabbed him and he dragged the woman partially back into the front of the car by hanging onto the backpack, as I recall.

I was living-working Silicon Valley when DEI first showed up in the late 90’s.
In 10 years it went from a place engineers dreamed of working into a drama filled nightmare.

Sounds like Mr. Cook has at least one corporate spy. Gotta wonder how many other corporate secrets have been leaked and/or sold.
