Donald Trump has said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will leave Minneapolis, after clashes broke out following the shooting of a protester.
The US president did not give a timeline for the withdrawal of federal officers, but promised: “At some point, we will leave. We’ve done, they’ve done, a phenomenal job.”
The White House is under pressure over the killing of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse, on Saturday.
Mr Trump twice refused to answer whether the officer who shot Pretti had done the right thing. “We’re looking,” he told the Wall Street Journal. He said his team was “reviewing everything and will come out with a determination”.

However, the longer POTUS allows this insurrection to fester the worse it will be for the country.

He took a gun to a “peace Protest”. Someone saw it and yelled ...”GUN!” Now he is dead.
Reminds me of a scene in LETHAL WEAPON in which under cover cop Mel Gibson dressed as a bum sitting in a police station removes his firearm from his pocket. Someone sees it and screams “GUN!” and all he!! breaks lose .
In REAL LIFE, Mel would have been dead within a few seconds.
Retreat is not what is needed becasue it will encourage them to do more of their insurrection and it will spread.

For Trump to send Holman to Minnesota this is going to play out 2 ways, either Trump is sending the word to Tampon Timmy you stop or else or Trump is caving.
So will he be using the Insurrection Act?
POTUS is not Emperor.
If the majority of his party is not behind him there’s nothing he can do unless he wants to declare martial law and take over everything.
