A total of 18 House races have shifted toward the Democrats ahead of the crucial 2026 midterms, according to The Cook Political Report.
Newsweek contacted the White House and the Democratic National Committee for comment via email.

This is why the administration needs to act with urgency—while it can—on all issues.
They must act as if they only have a year left to get anything done.

The pearl clutchers are out early this morning. Go to the Cook Political Report (the Newsweek referenced poll), and the first seat talked about is Crockett in Texas. It states that both her and Tallarico are much behind three republican candidates. Another story where the headline doesn’t come close to the actual article, in this case, poll.

I don’t know, I don’t think Trump is as worried about it as people here think.
He got a second chance at the White House only because the Democrats tried to impeach him. Had they not done that, most likely he would have been finished.
I say the same about Clinton, too. Impeaching him gave him new life.
