The Golden Globe Awards once again tanked in the ratings. This year, this dumb awards show that features celebrities who hate Normal People served up ratings even worse than last year (2025), and last year (2025) the ratings sucked.
Oh, and last year’s (2025) ratings were lower than the previous year (2024), and in 2024 the ratings sucked.
So, for the third year in a row, the Golden Globes have lost viewers.
Only 8.66 million people tuned in this year, a drop of seven percent compared to last year, when an abysmal 9.27 million tuned in

The host seemed a bit vile to me. I get that she is an insult comic but there is something unhinged in her approach.
well most conservatives have better things to do nowadays....the middle and the left who might tune in have other distractions as well...Hollywood is dying a slow death.

Watch and see, they’re going to blame that perky young lady in the red satin dress. It’s more than the host. It’s most of the recipients, with all their virtue signaling.
Almost nobody wants to host that show, because no matter how it all goes, they’ll get trashed by the media, often by the same folks who were smiling and blowing kisses to the Host’s only days before.
Having said that, we watched it. Not with eyes glued to the screen, but it was there. We could’ve found something better, I’m sure. We could’ve even shut the tv off and save a little in electricity.

Everyone of these celebrity awards shows have been tanking and losing audiences for the last 20 years, it’s really accelerated in the last 10 for sure.
Hollywood has done what was once considered unthinkable, it has alienated its core audiences with its DEI, Left Wing Politics and also a totally inferior movie and entertainment product line. A good bit being constant reboots and very few original type ideas to produce. Example, I just read they want to reboot the TV show The Rockford Files, my question is why? Also just what actors will they come up with to play the roles.
The root of Magnum PI was terrible as was the reboot of Hawaii Five 0. Refused to watch either.
They’ve always been in charge but have hidden their real feelings for years. Really came out in 2020.
