Jimmy Kimmel drew backlash online after a monologue in which he accused President Donald Trump of enabling deadly force through U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In a segment aired on Wednesday, Kimmel referenced the recent fatal shooting of a 37-year-old Nicloe Good by an ICE agent during an immigration operation in Minneapolis.
"Donald J. Trump is going to kill you," Kimmel said, holding up a T-shirt with that message. "He isn't just killing people overseas."
Kimmel questioned Trump's response to the shooting, quoting the president's claim that the victim was "a professional agitator" and that the shooting occurred after she "violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer."
Kimmel replied, "It didn't look like anybody got run over to me. It looked like a woman got scared and tried to drive away, and they shot her."
The comedian added, "That will be for the court to decide," before airing a statement from the mayor of Minneapolis, who called the ICE account "bull" and said the shooting was "an agent recklessly using power."

Kimmel closed the segment with, "To ICE: Get the f*** out of Minneapolis," and said that's the shirt he wants to see next.
Viewers on X responded with outrage, calling the segment outragious.
"If Trump were really a dictator, Jimmy wouldn't be breathing right now," conservative commentator Sara Rose posted. She later added, "His rhetoric got worse since they reinstated this jacka*s."
Another user penned, "Unbelievable that this is permitted on our airwaves," while another user called it "the definition of inciting violence."
A third wrote, "The TDS is a certifiable disease," referring to what some call "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
"This isn't comedy, it's dangerous nonsense," another wrote.
Other users accused Kimmel of chasing ratings.
"Anything for ratings instead of just being funny," one more posted.
