A woman was placed in handcuffs by police and fined £100 for feeding pigeons in London.
Video footage captured by a passerby showed the woman being detained by a group of officers and council enforcement workers in Harrow on Wednesday.
A notice later handed to the woman showed she had been stopped for breaching a Public Spaces Protection Order which covers town and district centres in Harrow.
The woman, who was visibly upset at times, was surrounded by at least six police officers and two council enforcement officers.
The incident unfolded at around 3pm on Wednesday on the High Street in Wealdstone, London.
Police were seen searching the woman's pockets while a man filming the encounter repeatedly challenged the officers over the stop.
Her possessions were confiscated and placed in a plastic bag by officers, although they were later returned.
The woman, who has not been identified, was placed in the back of a police van but was later released.

They took her stuff but later gave it back. They put her in a van but later let her go. These are the kinds of details that only journalists keep straight.

If that’s the response to feeding pigeons, imagine how many bobbies and council workers respond to a rape of an underage British lass by an “asian migrant”!
... if migrant rape was illegal in Britain, that is, but unlike feeding pigeons, muslim rape doesn’t appear to be a no-no.

I remember fondly the song “Feed the Birds” from Mary Poppins with veteran actress Jane Darwell in the role of the Bird Woman, her last acting role. How things have changed!
They would have arrested Mary Poppins for encouraging the kids under her care to “FEED THE BIRDS, TUPPENCE A BAG” near the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral
