NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson admitted theft and misuse of public funds, Mayor Justin Elicker announced during a press conference Monday.
Jacobson allegedly admitted to taking money from a city fund used for confidential informants, according to Elicker. The fund is used to provide money to people who share information with police during criminal investigations.

Public housing authorities in CT and all over the country have not made any headlines recently—but they are a fraud and theft free for all and have been for decades.
In addition any federal or state money that went to CT cities for any other purpose probably has over a twenty percent fraud rate.
It is a big grab-fest out there.
