US President Donald Trump said American intelligence agencies have found no evidence that Ukraine targeted Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in a recent drone attack, contradicting claims made by the Kremlin. Trump stated that while an incident may have occurred nearby, US officials do not believe Putin’s residence was the intended target. The remarks come amid sensitive negotiations to end the Ukraine war, with European officials accusing Moscow of exaggerating the incident to derail peace talks. The controversy emerged shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Trump in Florida to discuss a proposed US-led peace framework.
In other words... Putin lied to Trump's face. Total disrespect. Putin's goal is clear - he is trying to derail Trump's peace-process by any means possible - and whatever the cost. A sad world.

Considering that the CIA said that there WAS a salvo in the direction of where Putin was staying, yet not aimed at Putin, I can only conclude that the CIA was doing the targeting.

He’s trying to get a Russia reaction of some sort or goad them in some way. But he just succeeded in looking dishonest and like he changes from week to week depending on who he last talked to.
They just know that there is little point in a deal when the other party is being dishonest or mercurial.
Maybe his goal was to blow up the deal or something. But he just looks impulsive these days. I hope he gets it together VERY fast so we don’t lose the house, (although there is little purpose in keeping it beyond defense. It stops the communist democrats from advancing the cause, even though the Repub Congress won’t lift a finger to advance our cause)

And in the meantime, Russia continues its bombardements of Kiev with ballistic missiles and drones killing civilians there every single day. Trump denounced that as well the other day. It’s important Trump continues to talk tough against Russia this way.
Russia’s relentless and desperate efforts to derail the peace process have failed.

Unfortunately, the pro North-Korea / Russia people on this thread are having their heads exploding after watching the Trump-video where he clearly says that Putin lied to him. There were NO drones aimed at Putin’s villa. Period.
Putin feels the end is coming for Russia... And he is just acting like a desperate drama-queen now. Putin needs a “safe space”... like those woke hippies...

It was obvious. To be generous, it might have been a political lie (IE..”BS”). But he knows it happened. He’s trying that Art of the Deal stuff, trying to make Russia angry enough to lash out somehow to prove he’s wrong. I think he is only succeeding in making them think he all over the map and there is little point in getting into a deal with him (or us).
The sad thing is, it appears they aren’t taking him seriously these days.
He should be able to submit the expense for reimbursement from his paymasters in Brussels or ‘keev’.
