Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem got her groove on to Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” during Wednesday night’s New Year’s Eve bash at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
In a video posted by Katie Miller, wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, the cabinet official — mocked by her critics as “ICE Barbie” — clapped her hands and danced to the Miami-based rapper’s signature 1990 hit.
“ICE ICE Baby,” Katie Miller captioned the clip, which also included her husband stiffly bouncing along to the beat.

Music royalties need not be paid unless the event/venue is open to the general public.

She was in my County here in Tx after the devastating July 4th floods that took over 100 lives, washed away homes, businesses, transportation, livestock. FEMA approved 22% of applicants seeking aid.

The most cited reason for rejections, IIRC, was lack of proper documentation. When your house washes away, and you lose everything, you are not going to have all the documents, or the physical, and emotional capacity to jump through all the hoops FEMA required.
I remember when FReeper TexanaRed (RIP) had her entire house wash away here. She escaped with the clothes she was wearing. Red Cross gave her a voucher for cleaning supplies.
FEMA was not really helpful.
God Bless Jim Robinson as he let me post a donations blurb for her. I offered my cabin in the country to her.
FReepers immediately stepped up, and $35,000 was raised for her.
In contrast, my neighbors who lost their home in that same flood applied for government help from FEMA. They received a low interest FEMA loan 3 YEARS LATER.

What was the difference for your neighbor? They kept the deed in a security deposit box?
