Move over, Tim Walz, because Joe Biden looks to be giving you a run for your money when it comes to fraud.
In the final year of the Biden administration, federal officials sprayed billions of taxpayer dollars meant to keep struggling families in their homes around the country like confetti, sending a shocking slice of that money to dead people, ineligible non-citizens, and tenants collecting more than the law allows.
“A US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) report found more than $5 billion in taxpayer funds went to ‘questionable’ rental assistance recipients during the final year of the Biden administration — including around 30,000 ‘deceased tenants’ and ‘thousands’ of potential non-citizens,” the New York Post reveals.
Unsurprisingly, a “large concentration” of fraud went to the blue states of New York and California, and, of course, Washington, D.C.
“A massive abuse of taxpayer dollars not only occurred under President [Joe] Biden’s watch, but was effectively incentivized by his administration’s failure to implement strong financial controls resulting in billions worth of potential improper payments,” said HUD Secretary Scott Turner in a statement.

This is intentional government sanctioned and enabled fraud.
Good to hear democrat leaders speak out against the taxpayers being stolen blind. Oh wait, .... they haven’t said a thing about all the fraud and corruption.

This was worse under Biden but let’s not kid ourselves. Fraud is a feature of the massive Welfare State transfer payment system that has been created for decades. Massive fraud was there under most presidents over the past 80 years. Biden just opened the fraud spigot full blast and didn’t care. The only way to get rid of fraud is to massively cut back these programs.
Remember the Fed DOJ is operating with significantly reduced legal staff.(Note we voted for this!) So everyone be patient.

The U.S. federal budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 saw total outlays of about $6.8 trillion. $5 Billion is beer money and was just to try to create an illusion of saving their bacon for the failed economy it took them four years to destroy. For them the $5 billion was advertising of their compassion. That money is just over 7.4% of their actual budget. That amount of money wouldn’t cover toilet paper used by congress for a year.

From 1998 to 2015, there were 3 presidents, Clinton, Bush and Obama. In the span of 18 years, 10 were under a Democrat president and 8 under a Republican.
And still, nobody knows where the money went. But we can guess that it went "into somebody's pocket."
Everybody wants to piss and moan about missing money going to 'dead people and non-citizens,' but the same mainstream media who gives us these stories, completely ignores the DoD/HUD malfeasance, which is far worse.
