Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., told CNBC he's launching an investigation into state-level fraud after he endorsed a wealth tax...Khanna's support of a tax on billionaires set off a firestorm among the tech elite in his Silicon Valley district...The proposed levy in California still needs to obtain enough signatures to qualify for placement on the November ballot.

For about 24 hours, Ro Khanna thought the reason we have a $40 trillion federal debt is because billionaires do not pay their fair share.
By the way...
His Congressional District is 56% Asian, 21% white, and 16% Hispanic.
A true nationwide audit of how States are handling Federal Dollars would actually be a good thing, IF and it’s a big IF you could believe in the integrity of the audit process.
We could probably wipe out the Federal Deficit based on nothing more than cleaning up the fraud in at the Federal level and I don’t care if it’s a blue or red state.
They’re enough worthless Republicans I would be happy to see them get the Tim Walz treatment.
Ballot initiative?
Let everyone who doesn’t work vote to take money from those who do.
Smart.
Any audits of Democrat controlled states would only be to identify vulnerabilities of their fraud being exposed so they can fix them and keep their coverups going.
MUSK NEEDS TO CREATE AN AUDIT BUSINESS-—& CALL IT MUSK’S WIZARDS.
HIRE OUT ALL OVER THE COUNTRY-—
CLEAN THINGS UP & EXPOSE MORE FRAUD...
ARE THEY SCREENING TO MAKE SURE THAT THOSE WHO SIGN TO SUPPORT THE BALLOT MEASURE ARE LEGAL VOTERS IN CALIF?
MY GUESS IS NO...
I wish ICE would go after this foreign clown. He’s no American. He’s a foreign piece of crap.
“The America We Deserve” by Donald Trump.
Advocated a 14.25% wealth tax on people with over $50 million in assets.
I’d support it if the government was cut in half. These billionaires give their money to democrats mostly.
Let’s face it the more they can tax, the more they can steal.
Yes but “Asian” includes a fair number of South Asians aka Indians who probably voted for him on that basis alone.
He’s a complete tool and completely unrepresentative of his constituents but he emerged from the same tech/VC world so they treat him like one of their own despite his politics.
I’d love to see him primary’d in similar fashion to what he did to Mike Honda but the core dems and AOC types love him and he has $$$ so will be tough to dislodge unless he runs for higher office. Alas Khanna and Jayapal seem to know their limitations so we are stuck with them absent vacating the Pacific states.
