We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota.
You have probably read the serious allegations that the state of Minnesota has funneled millions of taxpayer dollars to fraudulent daycares across Minnesota over the past decade.
Today we have taken three actions against the blatant fraud that appears to be rampant in Minnesota and across the country:
1. I have activated our defend the spend system for all ACF payments. Starting today, all ACF payments across America will require a justification and a receipt or photo evidence before we send money to a state.
2. Alex Adams and I have identified the individuals in @nickshirleyy 's excellent work. I have demanded from @GovTimWalz a comprehensive audit of these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations, and inspections.
3. We have launched a dedicated fraud-reporting hotline and email address at https://childcare.gov Whether you are a parent, provider, or member of the general public, we want to hear from you.
We have turned off the money spigot and we are finding the fraud.

A great choice of words. Nothing like freezing the Somali’s assets when the temperatures in Minnesota are freezing the Somali’s butts.
If most Somalis in Minnesota don’t work, why do they need child care????
MN is being called out as the laughingstock commie rat-hole that it is. All these liberal white-guilt-ridden a-hats are reaping their rewards they so idiotically asked for.
I think it’s necessary but some honest providers will get hurt. We will also see the one poor family whose kids are starving while living in a home without heat on national news.
Those payments shouldn’t have been happening in any of the 50 states in the first place.
I do not remember seeing that in the Consitution anywhere.

Their egregious and in your face fraud is going to spark audits all across the country and the Somalis are chump change compared to the pros in California and the East Coast.
They are destroying the Democrat narratives and talking points on racism, immigration, diversity , welfare, healthcare, daycare and pretty much every other Democrat priority on the Democrat agenda.
They have ripped up the race card, destroyed the Democrats lying slogan that diversity is our strength., they have ruined the Democrats “ It's for the children “ talking point and completely demolished the concept that Third world immigration is good for our country.
Their abuse of SNAP and other welfare programs is going to destroy middle class support for the programs and give political cover to President Trump to re institute the life time limits on welfare and the day care fraud is going to pave the path to a return for work requirements for welfare.
Best of all, the fraud on these programs supported the Democrat patronage and vote fraud programs which will now be exposed and curbed .
Actually, I wonder how many welfare recipients of any sort also get free child care.
I don’t disagree about the role of the Federal Government, but the day care provider that is actually watching kids and set up a business based on getting paid for their services and having the deal change at no fault of their own is what is a concern. I doubt all of them are crooks.
I don’t see it as any different than stopping the payments to any group of contractors.
Under the circumstances that this is so wide spread, the right action is to stop across the board until the situation is corrected.
And other programs. There are too many.
Don’t expect cowardly Republicans in Congress to do anything.

The given answer for any war on poverty program, from the left, sounds something like Government forced charity. The true answer is always the same. Redistribution from those that do to those that don't with the ultimate purpose of destroying capitalism.
Iow, Government playing both God and Father.
