Activists’ claims that illegal aliens commit crimes at lower rates than native-born Americans do may appear convincing, but new data from New York state shows that those here illegally commit crimes at a rate more than three times higher than that of legal residents.
And it’s costing us billions.
It’s true that if you lump all immigrants together, relatively few of them are accused and convicted of crimes committed here in the United States.
Legal immigrants commit crimes at very low rates, so combining their crime data with that of illegal immigrants masks the latter’s higher criminal activity.

So here's a source for those of us that are engaged in social media activism aka facebook flamewars.
To be honest, I don't know what FB has been doing with my algorithm but I see more support in the comments section of news stories than ever before and it's a lot more.

In the decrepit mind of the Leftist, all regular Americans are criminals, for simply existing. Therefore, illegal invaders are less criminal.
Politicians of all kinds want crime high, thats why its high.
It keeps a lot of people employed across multiple sectors - and taxed.
It is plausible deniability to ever expand the police/surveillance state. Govt power grows.
It is plausible deniability as one of the perennial go-to excuses to carve more of your personal freedoms away. Particularly your self-defense ones.
They adoot policies to keep crime high, releasing repeat offenders again and again because they know most people aren’t commiting crimes and if they keep the career criminals locked up crime is going to go down. A significant to majority of violent crimes are by a very small group of repeat offenders.
This also creates a perception of fear, that things are worse than they are, that people are more violent than they actually are. It drives wedges between groups. They want people divided. They want them divided by race and sex demographics to exploit for politicl purposes.
Every single one of them is a criminal guilty of border invasion or fraud to claim asylum. End of the story. They are all criminals. Even the children.
We have always had migrant workers in the agricultural areas. Hard workers doing the right thing. We have always had legal immigrants…….my daughter in law is one.
We are after illegals…….most of whom have arrived in the last 20 years or so. It isn’t hard to get and stay legal. Those who have been here a long time, have zero excuse, no matter how well they are integrated into the community.
I have heard that illegal immigrants only commit crimes that Americans REFUSE to commit themselves.

Minister and author Zig Ziglar used to say findings show that long time career criminals were usually uncomfortable and nervous about their first crime being wrong but then psychologically adjusted to committing crimes and got to like it and look forward to more of them. Just considered crime to be a job.
I saw those MS Now types repeat that, with the others nodding. Supposed to be fewer proportionally. I don’t even buy that.
And there is no argument against: If the illegal wasn’t here to murder (insert person, Kate Steinle, et al.) then the victim would not be a victim.
Same as: If there were a death penalty used against the criminal, or if a criminal was still in prison , instead of let go, then a person would be alive today.

The context to which I was referring is a more short term string of events...
Rob the store and kill the employee, he’s already in for the first crime...everything else is “free”...as in “he’s getting the chair, so every murder after that is no extra death penalty, aka nothing to lose.
The points are the same though
100% of illegal aliens are criminals.
