An Indiana state senator sparked an uproar online after posting AI-generated images of himself clobbering Santa Claus in front of cheering fans on Christmas day — then mocked outraged critics as “snowflakes.”
Sen. Chris Garten, a two-term Republican, shared four faux photos to his official X page of him in a sleeveless suit pummeling, kicking, and body slamming a terrified St. Nick in a crazed beatdown on the steps of the Indiana State Capitol as onlookers celebrated and waved “Garten for Indiana” signs.
Another snap shows the Senate Majority Floor Leader riding a reindeer in a bare-armed Santa outfit and sunglasses, flexing a comically jacked bicep in victory.
“When you find out the North Pole is trying to bring more bureaucratic overreach & unfunded mandates down the chimney disguised as ‘Christmas cheer.’ Not on my watch,” Garten captioned his bizarre holiday post Thursday morning.
“We The People run Indiana, not the bureaucrats. Take it back to the North Pole big guy. Merry Christmas, Hoosiers!”

I THINK I understand what he’s trying to do but the Santa thing is beyond bizarre.
If he had used Schumer, pelosi or literally a dozen other democrats he would have been fine.

I’m a little irked with Santa this year, but laying hands on him is a non-starter.
How did he vote on redistricting?
I ‘m not sure but I suspect that the skit is about Santa Claus representing the federal government giving out stuff to all the free loaders.
The state senator is pummeling federal Santa as if to say to the taxpayers “I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore” (Howard Beale).
That’s just my guess.
Plus he needs to leave politics and find sanctuary somewhere else...
What EVER made him think posting these images were a good idea? For any political opposition, this is a tailor made
propaganda tool meant to showcase that this senator tends to make STUPID & VIOLENT CHOICES, gift wrapped and ready to use. What was the purpose?
For any child to see these images, that would be nearly equivalent to seeing the senator kicking and clobbering Jesus Christ on the steps of City Hall.

Hopefully by then he will have realized what an absolute political blunder this is.......but being a politician I have my doubts.
