BOSTON, Dec 12 (Reuters) - A federal appeals court ruled on Friday that a provision of U.S. President Donald Trump's signature tax and domestic policy bill that deprives Planned Parenthood and local affiliates that perform abortions of Medicaid funding is not an unconstitutional punishment.

The idea that a judge thinks that he or she can order funds restored to Planned Parenthood when a law passed by Congress and signed by the President says the contrary is stunning.
Appropriating money is specifically a job assigned to the Legislative branch, not the Judicial.
Its not a punishment.
No private for-profit business is owed/entitled to public funds. They are just being reminded of that fact.
