Layoffs have hit American workers hard in 2025, particularly in the government and tech sectors. Already this year, well over a million jobs have been lost due to layoffs—and unfortunately, it doesn’t look like a cessation of job cuts is on the horizon. Reports say that beverage and snack giant PepsiCo is the latest major American company getting ready to announce layoffs.

A bag of chips that was once $1.00-$2.00 is now $6.99-$7.99.
They’re probably going to cheapen the ingredients now and cut quality control.

At one time or another, both Fritos and Cheetos have been major food groups for me.
I live in Dallas. I have been in the Pepsi HQ.
It’s the most woke place i have EVER seen, and i travel the entire country.
And the bags of chips are half empty.
They have raised the prices and reduced the portion sizes.
The air in the bag is there to prevent crushing. You pay for the weight if the product. Not the air.

They’ll can a bunch of temp agency hires, no matter their productivity, to show they’re “doing something.”
All the while keepimg the DEI bloat in management and the PepsiCo payroll.
They won’t be the only ones doing this. Corporations in America have a playbook that has been working for them for the last 30 to 40 years & they’re sticking to it.
