This could be embarrassing, however, I believe the goal is cash rewards for shyster Leftist lawyers at the expense of American manufacturers.

The ambulance chasers return.

So if a freaking Arduino or Raspberry Pi was bought in a E.U. country and shipped to Russia to go in a drone, an ambulance chaser can get millions from the companies?

“alleges U.S.-made technologies were used in Russian missile and drone strikes that killed Ukrainian civilians,”

So what?
Technologies from all kids of different countries are used in making advanced weapons, products, even in China.
I remember when the most advanced chips in F22 were made in Taiwan.
Probably still are.

The Ukrainian nationalists fought under the swastika during WW II.

Well, we could send the ambulance chasing lawyers to the Front in Ukraine, to see the chips in the incoming Russian weapons ...

permanently.

Oh NO, a $50 Garmin car navigation system was found in a Russian drone. Bring on the lawyers.

I understand that somewhere in Moscow is a large display of American and European weapons and equipment captured on the battlefield, plus rockets and missiles that malfunctioned and crashed intact. All have undoubtedly been reversed engineered and copied. And, Russian espionage is second only to China. How is that open to court proceedings??

We need “loser pays” laws to restrain the lawyers from theft.

We have an extremely corrupt & expensive law system in this country.

This nonsense shouldn’t even get a hearing.

My first thought is that they need to see if Hunter or Joe Biden got any cash from this situation.

The events of negligence are : duty, breach, causation, damages. I think lack of duty is what will sink this case

"This could be embarrassing..."

Ever hear of the black market? And what was going to stop weapons and weapon parts going into Ukraine, from being sold and ending up in Russia? It's not like any of the money or weapons, etc., that were sent to Ukraine have ever been fully accounted for. And then again, this could just be pure bullshit.

What would stop the Taliban from selling the shit that Biden left in Afghanistan, to Russia?

Could that mean that American defense and intelligence contractors are responsible to whomever suffers from American tech or weapons that the FSB and SVR steals and uses? What about nukes?

The Palis got all excited about this novel legal theory, but when their lawyer called them back, they got as far away from the phone as they could.

“American-made components — including chips, processors, and navigation systems produced by major U.S. manufacturers”

We have lots of Asian Indian tech workers. India long has had good relations with Russia.

A batch of circuit boards could be scraped and a relative in India could buy a mansion using Russian-held rupees that can legally only be spent in India the Russians can’t otherwise find a use for. The boards could wind up in Mexico and eventually Russia.

An Asian Indian tech worker could have a bunch of circuits made in Taiwan that wouldn’t work on an American product but would work with a Russian product.
