Every country spies on every other country always.
For example, there is a hotel next to the U.S. Embassy Annex in Tel Aviv (the old Embassy before Trump moved it to Jerusalem) that is well known to be chock-a-block full of CIA spying on Israel.
I’ve met 60 year old grizzled fat straight American men across the street at the Imperial bar who, when asked, told me they were “Interior Decorators.” Sure.
Everyone take a pill and calm down.
But with about 197 countries each spying on the other 197 countries, amounting to some 38,000 different spying cases, Mac Truck focuses uniquely on one of the 38,000 with which he tries to make Jews look bad.
Why is that?
There is a word in the language for people uniquely focused on their perception of the evils of Jews exclusively.
It the word fits, wear it.
“according to sources”? Stopped right there. What sources? And the Biden Administration leaked actual intelligence on Israel that caused much damage and forced the Israelis to quit sharing information with them. That is the truth.
Water is wet.
Any country which does not keep track of all forces nearby is derelict in its duties.
I am all that!
Hell, two gorgeous Jewish 23 year olds both named exactly “Noa” seemed to be hitting on me and my similarly aged (60s) buddies.
Turned out they were employees of The Imperial who were off duty, and it was terribly normal for them to chat up everyone.
I felt so used!

So? What’s the point? They’d be derelict if they didn’t. There are lots of Israel haters in our government. They should be watched.

As I was in the process of relieving my current wife’s leftist ex-husband of his duties, he wrote to her about me, “He represents everything we hate about this country!”

Unnamed sources may have been needed in this instance due to fear of retaliation from the Israelis. Its certainly someone who has access to what's going on at the facility and its not a Palestinian source as they are 100% not part of the Gaza planning process.
Since there is a quote from the CMCC base commander Lt. General Patrick Frank stating that the “recording has to stop here”, maybe someone will ask the General about that directly or raise the issue at the next Pentagon briefing.
Considering how little 'news' has been generated about the US military presence in the Gaza region since their deployment in October this news story bears some attention.
Who cares, really?
Better the Israelis than Iran or hamass.
Its not like international aid groups and the UN havent been penetrated and compromised.
There is no anti-Semitism like English anti-Semitism.
They have got that perversion nailed!
OMG 🙀 Israel is spying on us as we spy on them. The Guardian is so cutting edge. Tomorrow’s Guardian banner headline will be the “Pope is Catholic and bears do $hit in the woods.”
Right. This to be expected, but nobody likes being spied upon. This is the HQ for the multilateral implementation for the Gaza ceasefire accord. Israel has a serious interest in what goes on here.
In fairness, as a Catholic, I’d be really excited to read about a Catholic pope for a change.
