Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett launched a campaign Monday for the U.S. Senate in Texas, telling President Donald Trump, “I'm coming for you," and bringing a national profile to what could be a critical race for Democrats’ long-shot hopes of reclaiming a Senate majority in next year’s midterm elections.
Crockett, one of Congress’ most outspoken Democrats, a frequent target of GOP attacks and a Trump target, jumped into the race on the final day of qualifying in Texas. She is seeking the Senate seat held by Republican John Cornyn, who is running for reelection in the GOP-dominated state.
“As a candidate who is constantly attacked and seen as a threat, it's because I am,” Crockett told supporters in Dallas. “I'm the only one who has gone toe to toe with Donald Trump, and there's a reason he's always got my name in his mouth.”

Unfortunately, she did not lose her seat due to redistricting. The redistricting only made it more competitive for her.
The more prominent she is, the better Republican chances are.
Maybe, but TX is full of liberals of all sizes, shapes, and degrees.
She will get a lot of out of State funding which she will only spend a fraction of. Will she even win the Rat primary? The unspent campaign money will be laundered into her personal finances. It’s the only reason she is running for Senate It’s what Demorats do.
Watched a couple of minutes of her announcement. She must be getting paid by the number of times she says “y’all”. Completely annoying !

Bingo. She has 0 chance of winning the Senate. This is just a cash grab. As James Golden said yesterday upon hearing the announcement, “she threw her hair in the ring”.
I know that is out there, but no, her district is still there, only a bit more competitive for her.
She decided to run because she thinks she can win and be bigger than she is now. She is very ambitious; she thinks she can lie her way into power. And it has been done before. But she is stupid and will not work outside the hood for her.
