Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,

Thanks for tonight’s Road Trip, Lauren!
Howdy, lauren. *HUGZ*
Are things starting to slow down now that the end of the year draws close? Bet you’re ready for a couple of weeks off by now.
Good evening and thank you radu!
Howdy PROCON!
Thanks for being here.
Yep, just some quiet work for now, and I’m leaving for NC in a couple of weeks. WOOHOO!
Hope you have a good week. It’s actually cold here, LOL!
I used to drive past this place every day on the way to work. I worked at the cable company and they wanted us to wire some of the buildings. They gave us a tour of the stuff they could show us. It was a fascinating afternoon.
In the end…we dug a trench to the building and they handled everything inside. They couldn’t get us access beyond the block outside the office.
Natick is a great little town. You would miss this if you weren’t looking for it.
Good evening Vermont Lt, great story, thanks!
Would like to get to Massachusetts someday, one of my grandkiddos is in school there.
Awesome! It’ll be nice to get away and spend some time with the family. Take plenty of sweaters and such. Winter seems to like it up this way. BRRRRRRRRR
Howdy, PRO.
How are things these days?
Looks like you’re in for some nasty weather tonight. The good thing is the radar shows rain and not snow.
What is going on with the soldier beneath the dome? It looks like the one Dr McCoy used before putting Spock’s brain back.
Visited Robin and the pups yesterday, they had just got haircuts and baths so they were looking real cute.
We will get some rain tomorrow but Seattle and W. Washington will get a bunch. They're calling normal heavy rain an 'atmospheric river' now so it sounds more scary.
My wife spent her early years living in Natick, she’s quite familiar with the place as am I. Great post!

We are indebted to you for your sacrifices for our Freedom.

You’ve posted pics of the silly pups in the past right after their haircuts. Just adorable, they are. Heck, they’re adorable all the time. :-)
I just animated the radar and it does look like it’s stalled for now. It’s a big wet system and should give you a decent soaking when it does decide to move along your way.
Yeah, ‘atmospheric river’, ‘polar vortex’ .... they just can’t help themselves. LOL
These road trip threads are fun. Always neat when folks living close to or having been stationed at the different bases pop in.
Howdy, luvie.
Good to see you made it there safe and sound. I hope the traffic wasn’t too bad. I know how much you enjoy being on the highways with a gazillion big trucks. LOL
Hey there, radu!
Yes, it was simply wonderful being nearly run over by giant oil field trucks. But it thinned out after we got about 60 miles from home. Everyone’s ok. I need to go visit. My DIL just got home from work.
See ya in a bit. Hope your day was good!
Whatever that is, this Marine’s not going there because it’s Massachusetts.
