FBI Director Kash Patel shut down numerous accusations that have been made by podcast host Candace Owens involving the murder of the late co-founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk.
During his appearance on Friday on the Sirius XM The Megyn Kelly Show podcast, Kelly started out by asking Patel if they believe they have the "proper suspect in custody" — if Tyler Robinson is "in fact, the man who killed Kirk."
Patel didn't hesitate in the slightest and answered, "Yes."
The host then brought up one of the wild accusations that have been made by Owens, which includes claiming that Kirk's own friends and his organization allegedly knew and approved of his murder. Insane.
"Do you have any credible reason to believe that anyone connected with the Turning Point organization had anything to do with Charlie's death?" Kelly asked.
Patel's response: "Zero."
He was then pressed about other claims that Owens has made about the alleged involvement of foreign governments in Kirk's assassination, like French paratroopers, Egyptian Air Force planes flying out of Provo, Utah, and "potential underground assassins traveling through unseen tunnels," as the producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, Blake Neff, previously explained.
"At this time, the FBI doesn't have credible information to connect any foreign governments to it," Patel said.
The FBI director made it clear that the investigation is continuing and they are looking into everything, no matter how small.
"We are not done just because we arrest someone, just like in the pipe bomber case," Patel said. "We don't just say, Okay, we're done, on to the next. The investigative team continues to work with the Utah authorities, and they're deriving their own leads and coming back to us saying, 'Hey, can you look at this piece of information? Can we get a search warrant on this account? What about this individual who is located in X, Y, or Z?'"
"We're tracking all that down," he added.
The host also asked about speculation that has surfaced on the internet regarding the bizarre text message thread between Robinson and his roommate. Kelly said a lot of people think it's the reason some believe that Robinson didn't commit the crime, because it sounds fake and made up.
"Do you have any reason to believe that that text exchange was not real between them for whatever reason, potentially even having been orchestrated between the two of them?" the host asked.
Patel said he recognized the emotional charge this case has, but made it clear that he doesn't "believe the prosecutors in the state of Utah would be using any piece of information or evidence that was not credible."

The Patel comments come after Neff and TPUSA recently called out Owens for her "reckless disregard for the truth," and the "evil" lies he said she's made about Kirk's assassination, as RedState reported.

A 30-06 round would have decapitated Charlie and fragments would have hit people behind him. No exit wounds? Then no 30-06.

People at TPUSA were/are stealing MILLIONS of dollars from this nonprofit. Charlie suspected and was going to do a DOGE style audit of the entire company. A few days later, he’s DEAD!

To this day I still haven’t seen a coherent timeline about this assassination. In the past you could see a full page diagram in Time magazine or something. A diagram would show the shooter and a dotted line to the victim. Then another dotted line would show his escape route with markers along the way... broke down rifle here.... jumped off building...ran to the woods... reassembled the rifle... walked down this path. Was picked up by someone here or had a get away car there.
We live in a world of flock cameras, cell phone pings etc.
But we see none of that...
They are hiding something. No complete picture exists. No autopsy. Tore up and poured concrete at he murder site a day later.
And Kash? That simple fella announced the bad guy was in custody, then said “my bad, no he isn’t”. Then the next day he said “oh yeah, he is”.
It all stinks to high heaven.

He never disassembled the rifle after the shot so he didn’t reassemble the rifle before hiding it.
A standard forensic autopsy was done as required in a homicide investigation. The results just haven’t been released.
The site was not paved over the next day. Work on the site began a few days after the shooting after the site had been released as a crime scene when investigators were finished with it.
MLK, Jr. was killed by being shot with a 30-06 and there was no exit wound. It happens sometimes. It’s not very common but it does occur.
I wonder if Candace Owens is having some kind of mental breakdown. Is she schizophrenic or paranoid or something? She’s got a wild imagination. Unfortunately, her accusations are hurting innocent people.

I don’t know what to think of her. She’s erratic for sure. She said there’s an assassination plot against her then shows up at Dollywood where she would be an easy target. She says lots of things but never produces evidence supporting what she says. I don’t think she needs the money her wild claims are generating. Maybe she just enjoys all the attention she gets. Nope, she’s lying all the way to the bank. Her podcast has gone to #1 over these Charlie Kirk lies. She’s focuses her commentary gynocentrically and all the idiot Karens are lapping it up.
He’s on video doing it. You can see the rifle as he’s jumping off the roof. I don’t think he stuffed it down his pants when he fled. He obscured the rifle which was wrapped in a towel by holding it against his leg as he walked.

I think most of the questions are going to be cleared up when the case goes to trial. Cleared up for normal people anyway.
If it goes to trial. He hasn’t went to trial yet. Neither has the son of a bitch that murdered the girl on the train. Nor the bastard that murdered the girl in D.C.
