WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump pardoned Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar and his wife in a federal bribery and conspiracy case on Wednesday, citing what he called a “weaponized” justice system.
Trump, who has argued that his own legal troubles were a partisan witch hunt, said on social media without presenting evidence that Cuellar and his wife, Imelda Cuellar, were prosecuted because the congressman had been critical of President Joe Biden’s immigration policies.

Hasn’t lifted a FINGER to help Tina Peters, dying in prison because she tried to stop the 2020 steal.
Maybe there is in occupation whose job it is to look into situations, and dig up facts and evidence.

Cuellar voted to impeach Trump twice. Tina Peters is dying in prison.... she tried to fight for Trump. Wonder who greased what palm here to get that pardon.
He does it to gain allies and make liberals heads explode. Really nothing more to it than that.
Cuellar was a closed-borders Dem so he had to be liquidated.
Trump can’t issue a pardon for state charges.

Tina Peters was convicted of a state crime, which Trump cannot pardon.
It looks like Trump is trying another strategy, though.

If Tina Peters is being held on state charges Trump can’t pardon her, only the governor can (IDK specifics of the case).
Too many people seem to overlook that fact, or are unaware of it.
I believe he has lifted a finger to help Tina. Problem is, the phony charges and prosecution was a “state” action, not a federal one.
His wife’s name is Imelda. LOL. How appropriate.
No, but she is a material witness to election fraud, and a victim of a criminal conspiracy to violate her civil rights under color of law.
He could have the US Marshals walk into the prison today and take her into Federal protective custody. This could be coincided with 6am FBI raids on Jena Griswold and seize her devices and computers.
Trump isn’t lifting a finger for this Gold Star grandmother who protected the databases before Griswold could illegally wipe them clean with new software.
He’s not even trying. He could take action today. But there is nothing in it for him. Loyalty is one-way with him.
