A renowned California doctor and his wife were found executed in the garage of their $1.3 million home just before a body, believed to be connected to the gruesome crimes, was found inside a burning car, according to police.
Dr. Eric Cordes, a 63-year-old 'highly respected' Simi Valley radiologist, and his wife Vicki, 66, died from fatal gunshot wounds in the garage of their home around 12pm Sunday.
'The Adventist Health Simi Valley community is heartbroken by the tragic deaths of our longtime colleague, Dr. Eric Cordes, and his wife, Vicki. Dr,' a spokesperson told the Daily Mail.

Mickey Thompson, the tire guy?
This beats the previous “Headless Body Found in Topless Bar” pne.
"Executed"??? By what authority? Of what crime were they convicted? In what court was the trial held? What governor signed their death warrants?
None?
Didn't think so ...
They were murdered.
Journalists: They use the words. But they don't know what the words mean.
1.3 million dollar home in CA is like a shed with maybe AC hooked up to it.
___Mickey Thompson, the tire guy?__
The racer car guy from the 60s and 70s. He and his wife were brutally murdered as they left their home for work back in 88. Two black men on bikes.
It was a contract hit by his business partner who was later convicted. They have never found the actual killers.
I dated a girl in Bradbury when I was in high school. Both her parents were Seventh day Adventist doctors. I had to go through gates just get into the community, I mean like the actual little town of Bradbury estates.
It’s where the IN N OUT heiress lives.....although I think she’s moving to TN. The Thompson murders were brutal. They made sure he would watch them execute his wife before killing him. Unimagineable horror.
Say uh, isn’t the word “executed” sometimes used to indicate the manner of their murder. Like being tied up or something. Or forced down into some form of submission....on their knees....something like that.
Well, I know I read that term sometimes to describe a murder of that type.
Child living at home?
The cops are gonna want to interview this guy, if he will talk.
“1.3 million dollar home in CA is like a shed with maybe AC hooked up to it.”
Seriously.
Q. What do you call a 60-something M.D. in the greater L.A. area who lives in a $1.3 million home?
A. Someone down on his luck.
I think a stepson. Probably living at home.....we’ll find out. Just awful.

Many times, that is the perp.

Someone who is a radiologist reading xrays online. Not a big earner for that town. Now- interventional cardiologist maybe.
But.. this has a feel of a “cartel” hit by proxy. He might have been a customer or forwarder on the side and they send in a disposable mehicano to murder and... be burned up by.. the pros. Too many movies? Maybe not.
1.3 mill in that market is like 150 K in regular US middle markets.
Might have been 1.3 million when the house was bought...probably up to about 2 million minimum now.
Sona body “connected” to the case already found and burned?
Family or super angry business partner?

Joking aside...this was my thought as well.
If you are a MD in the late part of your career in CA with a home valued at 1.3 million....you screwed up somewhere.
And this will almost certainly be a Netflix True Crime documentary.
___And this will almost certainly be a Netflix True Crime documentary.___
I like those Netflix true crime documentaries.....not fans of the owners of Netflix. Big libs I think, both husband and wife.
