GOP Senators trying to destroy Trump’s peace deal between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine who have stock portfolios heavily invested into the defense contracting industry is a prime example of why insider-trading cannot continue in Congress and yes, it’s happening even though it’s super illegal.

She does not name them as defense industry stock holders and tie them to that as well as to opposing any “peace” deal regarding Ukraine.
You are just supposed to take her word for it at face value.

It’s a mediocre deal. Ukraine would rather fight than disarm.
Nobody wants to say it but the war has immense benefits for USA. It depletes Russia and keeps it weak. It allows us to test weapons in combat and figure out how to fight the next war (cheap drone instead of billions on missiles).
A cease fire now is just a replay of 1936 & 1938 but with Russia taking place of Germany. And China will surely invade Taiwan within a year.
Trump is more concerned with his image winning Nobel prize than with long term strategic goals.
I hate seeing so many Ukraine men wasted on the front lines. But the alternative won’t save them.
