We need robot maids here to change bed sheets. Lots of reports of maids in hotels not changing bed sheets between visitor sign-ins. Reporters would spray a message on sheets that only shows under UV light; a different reporter would check in and light up the message after maids said they changed the linen. Liars all. Robots will get the job done without cheating. As for dancing robots, Japan has the most human female robots (some will do more than just dance).
that seems like a boring, sterile world where 95% of people are allowed just enough to survive. Maybe not even that much.
Somehow, I knew would say that!
Good to see ya.
Good to see you too for the 10 or 20 years we have left.
Lol.
Show me a week of real video that isn’t a movie production, but is actual production & maintenance with robots or AI.
You’ll find robots on the production side producing in the manufacturing sector, but they aren’t even close to replacing human capital & labor in just about everything else.
If they were, you would already see them everywhere in person, not just some artificial hype on YouTube.
:o)
When they can clean themselves, for obvious reasons, there might be a market.
Good luck trying to sell one to 'bareback' guys without that feature.
What he’s saying is there won’t be any humans left by then.
I wonder what the Thermians thought of Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
“that in the next 10 to 20 years, work will be optional, likening the decision to have a job to the more laborious upkeep of a vegetable garden.”
As Colonel Potter used to say; horsehockey
I’m planting more money trees.
If money is irrelevant, how do we determine who gets to live at the beach and who has to live in the dessert?
If the world is still around in 20 years, Musk is right that it will be completely different. I don’t believe it’ll be the way he foresees, but it will be very different.
Sounds like total bull shit to me. I like Musk, but this is over the top. He’s been smoking too much weed.
And what is the ultimate benefit?
That’s what I was thinking. No jobs. No money. Robots doing everything?
No need for people either then.
Perhaps at that point, God will make a huge change.
So this was just marketing for private equity investment.
Basically a giant commercial. Nothing to do with reality.
I want my flying car and Jurassic pet velociraptor.
The only paying job in Star Trek was holodeck cleaner.
Imagine that. Nothing to kill or die for
where have i heard that before? Who knew all you need is Robutts.
