Not a good idea for either state, in my view.

“advancing a project that critics say could harm coastal communities and ecosystems“

AP is one worst of the climate propagandists. They set the bar for the relentless BS.

So much oil off the coast of Santa Barbra California that oil is seeping onto the beaches at times.

Drill baby drill.

BTW...isn’t it interesting that the AP never reports that the biggest polluter in the oceans is the ocean floor itself from natural oil seeps.

1969-big oil spill off Santa Barbara. That put a stop to it.
Now-it doesn’t matter what Senator Scott of Florida thinks as we have 53 senators.

As long as that oil is ANYWHERE it will not be left alone. Look at ANWAR and the other spots in Alaska. Keystone.

Since the Kalifornia Marxist/Leninists will not let anyone rebuild after the fires in Lost Angeless, there will be no one living there.

Come to think of it, after the fires, there are many empty lots right on the beach. If I put on a dress and some high heels, hide my adams apple, have a rainbow colored tent and sleeping bag with Trans all over it, I could “occupy” “squat” in these prime locations. Sunsets every evening.

Just netsearch “Squatters Rights” in Kalifornia. It is Insane

When every wealthy leftist in coastal California can pick up a pair of binoculars and see an oil drilling platform from their ocean facing window then we know we have our country back.

My parents used to take us to San Gregorio Beach south of Half Moon Bay in the early ‘70’s. We would have to scrub the tar off of our feet and legs for a couple of days afterwards, if we didn’t use gasoline to do it. ;-)

Oil rigs in the ocean actually make great artificial reefs...they provide a home for abundant sea life where none would otherwise exist. In addition to reducing oil pressure in the sea bed and the ensuing seeps that are caused by it, they increase diversity of the ecosystem. Win-Win!

People can make money drilling for oil — even if there’s none there to be found.

In the meantime, he should sign an EO to have at least 5 or 6, or more, refinerys built on government military land outside of CA.

Completely constitutional...usefull buildings.

Contract the running out to companies.
