LEBANON, Ind — Federal immigration authorities have placed a hold on one of the people involved in a fatal crash on Interstate 65 that killed an Indiana National Guardsman and injured three others, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office said.
The person, identified as Goderdzi Gujabidze, 56, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was behind the wheel of a car hauler truck when it collided with a military Humvee and a white Subaru on Friday. Police said Gujabidze was later detained after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) notified them of the hold.

The left keeps parroting talking points that these border crossers who are here aren’t criminals.
By crossing the border illegally, they are - by definition - criminals.
Only the truly stupid and criminal themselves would give criminals jobs, let along jobs that would endanger others (in this case, public highways).
IMHO these leftist states have demonstrated an unspeakable disregard for public safety & the rule of law, and therefore subject to federal oversight of ALL local/state actions until they demonstrate otherwise.

How are these illegals (criminals), who commit other crimes and here vehicular homicide only get detained but if an actual American that caused this would have the book thrown at them and they’d be facing 25 years in prison?

Many of the foreign car carrier drivers get their jobs through transportation brokers. This guy’s broker should be tracked down and investigated. I’ll bet his contacts app is chock-full of leads to other illegals. I never use brokers. They’re generally awful, at least in my experience. I use only legitimate carriers whose drivers are their employees and whose trucks are trackable.

With a name ending in -dze I figured he was from the former Soviet Georgia. Maybe he is related to FDR’s friend Djugashvili.
What's that again? Dude with that name is from Brooklyn, NY? Nope. He is from the Asian country of Georgia (not to be confused with our state of Georgia). It is on the eastern side of the Black Sea between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. So who paid for his flight to Mexico so he could join a mob crossing our border illegally?
