On Oct 25, Xue Jian, Consul General of China in Osaka, used “beheading” language toward U.S. @SecWar Pete Hegseth. This must be translated and reported to the U.S. government. A China diplomat threatening to behead a U.S. official should be widely exposed!

This wasn’t a threat to chop off any person’s head. This is the same colorful metaphoric language Chinese politicians have been using for generations. Plus, he’s correct to say that this is a matter best left to the Chinese people to solve.

Note: Hamas did cut at least two babies’ heads off and more than one mother’s head in front of her husband and children in the October attacks on Israel.
I disagree with the Israeli families’ policy of refusing to allow the videos out.
2nd. Just today in the riverside walkway not far from home I saw new painted graffiti saying “Get Out the Guillotine” near the old graffiti of “Kill Cops” “ACAB” and several “Free Palestine” and a threat to Trump.
The CHOP barricaded section of the city for the BLM riots was inspired by “chopping” off the heads of Trump and us as the goal, as they learned from the French Revolution (probably a Classics Illustrated comic version someone read to them at age 19).
That means hes doing a good job.
Sounds like Hegseth is doing the job he was picked to do!!

That whole bring-in-more-Chinese-students idea seemed to come out of President Trump’s rear end. What is he thinking?!
First, it’s a mistake to imagine China solely in terms of its current leadership. China is a landmass with more than a billion people, 92% of which do not belong to the Communist party. Second, I don’t believe it’s “conservative” to maintain policies that will keep our two countries on the brink of war forever. War with China is unthinkable.
Third, I believe that most of our policy makers (and certainly most Americans) know practically nothing about Chinese culture or history. I dare say that most Freepers have never met a Chinese person. I thus believe it’s vital for citizens of both nations to gain more authentic mutual understanding.
Finally, it’s not that I support the Chinese Communist Party. But no, I do not view the CCP as inherently evil. Twenty five years ago the U.S. and China were on the verge of good international friendship.
Over the past twenty years I’ve had the privilege to visit and teach in China and to make many friends. I believe that my views are not far different from the current President, for whom I’ve voted three times.
