What was the percentage of voters in these four blue states that voted Tuesday last versus 2024? I'm only talking NYC, NJ, VA and Calif?

Now imagine if EVERY Republican went out and voted Tuesday?

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) predicted his party would take control of the House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections.

Host Kristen Welker said, “Let’s look at Tuesday’s election results. Democrats had a clean sweep, winning the New York City mayoral election and both gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia, a ballot measure in California. You are on track to potentially become the next speaker if Democrats were to win back the House in 2026. How confident are you that that’s going to happen?”

Jefferies said, “Democrats are definitely going to take control back the House of Representatives. We will stay focused on the issues that matter, lowering the high cost of living, fixing our broken healthcare system, and cleaning up corruption to actually deliver a country that works for working-class American, for everyday Americans, and for middle-class Americans. As Democrats, we believe in a country that has a strong floor and no ceiling. Lankford: Democrats Are Using Suffering People as ‘Leverage’

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) said that Democrats were using the suffering of Americans for “leverage” in the government shutdown.

Host Kristen Welker said, “I do want to ask you about the people who are suffering right now. You have talked about this, this SNAP, the food assistance program, roughly 42 million people, Senator, rely on this. That ran out of funds on November 1st. The Trump administration has fought this all the way up to the Supreme Court to not fully fund this critical food assistance program. What do you say to the allegations made by many Democrats that the Trump administration is simply weaponizing hunger?”

Lankford said, “Yeah, this is the spin. Literally, this is the painful spin that people across the country are saying: ‘I’m so sick of the politics.’ And that’s been just fixed. The problem is, 14 times we voted to reopen the government two weeks ago, we brought a bill that would fully fund SNAP for the entire year. Last week, we brought a bill that would just pay our federal employees. Democrats have voted no, no, no, no, every single time because the goal for them is leverage. If you listen to the things they say over and over again, they say people are suffering. But that gives us more leverage in our debate here.

He added, “Listen, people don’t want leverage. They want to get access to food. And I would only say President Trump diverted tariff revenue into the wake, funding women, infants and children’s funding to be able to make sure their programs stay solid. The problem with Snap is you would have to take funds away from the disaster aid that’s there if we have a hurricane that comes in, or take it away from the school lunch program. So it’s this terrible choice the president has to make, take it away from the school lunch program or deal with SNAP, he said over and over, open the government. That’s the solution.”

Notice how Welker just repeats democrap talking points. NOT a WORD about the cloture vote being blocked 14 times by senate democraps. But to her, the only issue is the lie that, "The Trump administration has fought this all the way up to the Supreme Court to not fully fund this critical food assistance program"...

He isn't fighting funding it, he can't give out any $$$ the Congress hasn't allocated. That's why he going to the SCOTUS!

If they are wanting to throw people out of the MAGA movement for supporting Israel they better have rock solid scripture and begin quoting it. Don't simply say the New Testament replaces the Old Testament since it clearly does not. Are the Ten Commandments no longer valid or King David's lineage?

We fished the Eastern Gulf and had a great day. We went through 150 live shrimp and caught Spanish mackerel, mangrove snapper, trout,hogfish,and even some small yellowtail.

We had a visit from a 10 foot 300-500 lb. Hsmmerthead shark who visited out chum slick to see what was going on and then left. We also had some porpoises visit and a 500 lb. loggerhead turtle.

It was flat calm and boiling hot but we had an awesome time.

From what I read and saw during the week it looks like the supremes will not render a decision on Trumps ability to use the tariffs to regain fair play with other countries for a couple of months.

Even then if they do decide to force him to include the house or senate in setting tariffs it's doubtful they will force him to redo those agreements that are already signed.

Even the supremes understand what damage that would do to the country and let's hope they don't go crazy with power.

I do hear there is supposed to be a powerful cold front that will effect the entire country even blasting below Cuba which is rare. For us in the Islands southern most point in the US it will perk up the fishing even more,so bring it on!!

"Snap" as I understand it, is basically food stamps designed for the poor to buy food. Problem is only 35% of the recipients are US citizens. The rest are from somewhere else. Even in the 35% many are playing the system!!

So it's no wonder Trump wants to revise it all. Many of us work hard to come up with endless tax money and don't appreciate it being squandered.
