US President Donald Trump's 'secret' city-destroying nuclear weapon appears to have been pictured for the first time by a planespotter during an alleged test flight.
Californian plane enthusiast Ian Recchio spotted the flying object while attempting to picture military aircrafts while overlooking the Owen Valley.
Now, military experts believe it could be the AGM-181 LRSO, the US Air Force's (USAF) next-generation stealth nuclear cruise missile.
The missile is set to replace the Cold War-era AGM-86B and will be carried by both the forthcoming £585m B-21 Raider and upgraded B-52 bombers.
It is thought the weapon will have an adjustable nuclear yield between 5-150 kilotons, allowing uses ranging from tactical effect to destroying cities.
A yield of 150 kilotons is a blast ten times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima in August 1945.
And if experts are correct, it is the first time the deadly missile has ever been pictured over California.
Photographer Mr Recchio told The Aviationist: 'We heard Torch52 on the scanner and looked up just in time to catch it climbing to about 5,000 feet.
'When we reviewed the photos, the ordnance looked unlike anything we’d seen before.'
The bomber carried classic orange test markings and two unidentified weapons that bear a resemblance to public renderings of the AGM-181A, the publication said.
Officials have confirmed the nuclear warhead has been tested several times, and is scheduled to be ready for service by 2030.

Use it on Sacramento
Well, if we try using it on Russian cities, Russia will turn around and use their nukes on our cities.
Hmmm...come to think of it...never mind.
so it wasn’t hush-hush, it was only hush.
The drama queens writing this story act like this is something new.
Donald Trump’s bomb?
I read somewhere that there are actually only two choices for yield: 5kT, and 150kT.
That’s because it’s a hydrogen bomb with a fission trigger. The fission trigger yields 5kT, and the fusion bomb yields 145kt.
The selection either enables the fusion secondary, or disables it.
He made it himself. /s
Well yeah. He’s responsible for everything evil right? Fidiots!
There are two on the pylon. Hush. Hush.
Who knew Trump owned a nuke missile??
Oops. Starboard wing = port wing. Damn autocorrect! I know the difference between port and starboard!
The warhead was tested?
Idiot writer doesn’t know the difference between a delivery system and a warhead.
What do you mean "if" , paleface?
Amazing for us that Donald Trump could order, implement, and field a nuclear missile in only 10 months...
“US President Donald Trump’s ‘secret’ city-destroying nuclear weapon”
No, it’s not Donald Trump’s weapon, it’s a military ordnance currently under development that he happens to approve of, and someday it might be added to the Ordnance Corp’s inventory.
There are two on the starboard wing on a pylon that appears capable of holding up to six. Chances are that the port pylon was empty at takeoff. Testing doesn’t always mean a full combat loadout.
1) Wiggle words -- "appears to have been pictured for the first time by a planespotter during an alleged"
2) The detail on the photos seem rather good for capturing a plane at 5K feet. But here is one of his photos -- he copyrights them, so Daily Mail either got permission or paid for the use -- as he captured a plane from ABOVE it. [ Note this photo carries no copyright, though the DM photos carry copyright markings. ]
3) A "city-destroying nuclear missile" isn't much farther afield than out atomic bombs at the end of the War in the Pacific, which rather well destroyed two cities.
So who is he? "Retired- Curator of Herpetology" from the LA Zoo, and a guy with some film credits.
Ian Recchio is known for Little Giants (2019), Ancient Aliens (2009) and 72 Dangerous Animals: Latin America (2017).
Another opening, Another Show. And Daily Mail's the place to go!
The Mamdani. Destroys cities.
LOL!
Pretty sure we've all had city-destroying nukes since the 40s.
Problem is, retard Gen-Z journalists skipped this day in class so it's all new to them.
